Ultimate dForce Bed - Render & Support thread [Commercial]

Ultimate dForce Bed

Ultimate dForce bed is a modular bed platform with multiple bed bases, a mattress with pillows, and a Physics driven dForce duvet/comforter. This set is compatible with all figures, all generations, all poses and all morphs. The dForce driven Duvet/Comforter can also be used in circumstances other than the given beds. You can either build your own bed out of the modular pieces available, or use a pre-made prefab.

Using Ultimate dForce Bed is as easy as loading a bed, posing your character, hitting simulate and you're ready to render. You are also supplied with a suite of corrective morphs to fix any minor clipping or poke-through that may occur when the Duvet is bent at extreme angles. A vast range of color, texture and material options are available to you for the multiple modular parts in the set, ensuring you never have to use the same bed twice.

If you have any questions or issues to raise, please post them here or you can PM me privately. Have fun!

This image really needs a better title than just "Ultimate dForce Bed"... Got any ideas? (TOS compliant, of course.)

That is really realistic looking.  Gorgeous!

Several come to mind but they are definitely not TOS compliant lol.

I have several renders to post but they are all on my home PC so its going to have to wait until I get home from work.

I do want to say that this is an amazing product.  I never do scenes with beds because it never looks natural, there is no way to get the blankets to drape over the people and look real.  And, I am NOT that good at Dforce yet.  This is a simple, elegant, solution and super easy to use.  I pushed it a fair amount and had really good results. And it takes different shaders beautifully.

Also, the blanket/duvet works with very well with other beds. I've tried it out on several other beds and it works great.

Thank you. I haven't even used it yet and thank you. So many times I have gone down the road of an idea only to be stymied by the lack of a decent bed or morphs or blankets.  Thank you.  Did I say thank you?

Right?  I have some really cool medieval beds and beds with drapes and... and... lol.  And I never used them because it looked rather...ridiculous to have them covered by a board or laying on a super flat surface.

Thanks Serene, much appreciated as always!

Well that's jolly nice of you to say so, thank you very much for picking it up smiley

An as yet unnamed image featuring the Ultimate dForce Bed, by L'Adair

"How to Spell 'Good Morning'" comes to mind. Some kind of word play with letters and words would be a fun title since the bedsheet has letters on it. If the bedsheet was more colorful I would call it "Reading Rainbow" LOL.

This product is the perfect use of dforce. And it has so many options on top of that, so it is not a one trick pony, either. Now people can remake their favorite scenes from "Death Bed, The Bed that Eats" (...people...it eats people.) And no, don't watch it, its really bad, unless you are a masochist who enjoys a MST3000 kind of movie.

Wasn't there also a scene in one of the Freddie Krüger movies with a bed swallowing a teenager?

I had the pleasure to test this. It's super easy to use and has given good results every time. There are many different bed frame options as well as material options for frame, pillows, sheets, duvet top and duvet bottom.  Here are two iRay renders - same room but different frame and material choices to show how the mood can be quickly changed.

  • I'm not sure if more can be said, but this is damn easy to use. That's actually the best part. Took very little to get going. I've been shying away from anything dforce from hearing about exploding props and weird results. But this works.

There are so many moments that I changed the script and location because well, sheets are still aproblem, even when you have the bed prop and the poses it comes with.

This is a proper solution. It's about time somebody started thinking big and solving problems.

    Book mark this vendor's page.

Now if only we could clone him.

We need more drapey stuffs, sets and effects.

    More and bigger ships...

You aint got a little brother or sister you could be teaching this stuff to?

    More products!

I would have had more, but I was working on the bobblehead image. And about that image, I just wanted to say I could not have done that fluted plate had I not beta tested this product. There are several morphs for the duvet, including two that expand the mesh after the simulation. And seeing those morphs in action is when I realized I needed such a morph for the plate. So not only did I get an amazing product I know I'll use again and again, I also learned something valuable.

I think this product is underpriced, when you look at how much you get. Six different bed frames, all but one come with two material options. (Frame F has three!) A mattress with two pillows that not only fits the included frames, but could potentially be used on other beds you own with a bit of tweaking. Or set on the floor, for that matter. Eleven presets that load everything you need. Lots of material presets if you prefer to create your own. I think the only thing that's missing is the kitchen sink!
    wink

I'll be back in a bit with another render...

Cool idea. However, I've already found a name I like. Morning's Light. That's due in part to the next image being named Dawn. But also, it begs the question: Does the title refer to the lighting of the image, or the light in her eyes?

And speaking of Dawn, here it is:

  • Thought it was a woman at first till I zoomed in and saw the hairy leg. lol

Beware any person with a leopard print bed sheet.

The little bit of clothing coming out the draw is an awwesome touch.

Just wanted to point out you can use this with more than just reclining or partially-reclining figures. Here's one with a woman sitting on the edge of the bed. Hard to wake up some mornings.

Thank you, Griffin Avid. I used GypsyAngel's Ragnar. I didn't want all my showcase renders to be of the ladies. They get enough attention as it is. As for the sock stuck in the drawer, I wanted to show that the drawers open. The image rendered much lighter. Too light, in fact for the time of day it was supposed to be depicting. I used a few tricks in photoshop to darken the image while not losing all the details, but I think it got darkened further by Daz's image upload process. But even so, it does look good when viewing the full-size image. (My next render will have to be lighter. Maybe use a man and a woman... TOS compliant!

OMG, that is such an amazing image!

Hey! Thanks to everyone for dropping in - L'Adair, Rich, Dragon, Griffin, Ivy, wonderland, very much appreciated. There doesn't seem to be any drama or technical hitches yet, very pleased about that. @Griffin_Avid If i am ever cloned he will definitely be put on the tech support role. laugh

@AnotherUserName - The guilt will eventually consume me, but for now i'm more than happy to scoop up them pennies if people are happy to part with them. smiley

Thanks for the renders everyone! Remember, if anyone is struggling or having issues, you can post here or PM me privately.
