Awkward Age and Sophia hair for Gen 8

I bought these products but they aren't rendering right using 3Delight. They come up as a white image.

Awkward age product page doesn't mention anything special so I'm not sure how to render it with 3Delight?

Sophia Hair says "for the 20 base haircolors you will also get a set of advanced UberSurface materials for Daz Studio 3Delight", but I don't know how to apply them, I select the hair but nothing under materials seems to help.

    Don't have those products (would be easier to help if you added the product links), but awkward age is apparently IRay only, so you have to convert the materials to 3DL shaders wich can be a bit tricky. There is a free converting script in the freebie forums, maybe ask the people over there? Have you looked in the content library People/ Genesis 3 or 8/hair/ Sophia hair/ materials or something along those lines?

    Do you have UberSurface installed?

     

    If the hair is selelcted then all you need to do is double click the mat preset and it should apply like anything else.

      • 19 Texture,and Transparency Maps (2048 x 2048 to 4096 x 4096)
    • Daz Studio Iray Material Presets (.DUF)

    It doesn't say anything about 3DL mats, so I doubt it's supported for 3DL.

    Yeah i missed that, ok and I'll check and see if I have UberSurface installed

    Those are for 3DL.

    uberSurface is part of the default shaders for DS. It's bundled with DS program but has a separate install file.

    I'm not sure if this is the same thing, since I don't use 3DL, but if you go to your Content Library Tab and do a search for UberSurface, this comes up:

    Take a look at this video, where to find ubersurface, and how to apply it.
