    Thanks TAOZ! I picked this up.

    Let us know if they work as I couldn't pose to make it look like someone was authentically licking their pencil/pen tip before taking an order or writing a ticket or whatnot.

    It does. And all you see is a faded out box that says: "You are ignoring USERNAME. Show comment?" or something along those lines. Then if you want you can click and see their comment.

    EDIT: Ahhh No, it still shows their icon - it's just smaller and lighter but still visible. Poop. :( I guess it's not as useful as I thought.

    I actually wish it were true ignore. I've used the ignore feature, but since you see the responses even though they are grayed out.... I always click to look which defeats the purpose. Something more like facebook would be ideal.

    Ignore here doesn’t do anything. It’s more of “I suggest you don’t look” than ignore.

    That is super weird. I think I prefer the 'if I block or ignore you-you can't see me and I can't see you, we don't exist to each other' way. Not that I have ever had the urge to block someone here, but I have on other sites and let me tell you if ignore/block worked like this on a LOT of other sites I would pretty much have to just stop using them.

    yes I have often said this

    the  first DAZ forum I joined had that feature and it solved many issues, as Serene Night says clicking is too tempting wink

    It makes zero sense the way it is currently implemented.

    I thik implementation of a true ignore featue would be better for everyone's sanity and would reduce the thread lockouts due to arguing.

    I do the same as you, sort of a "What's Mr. Unpleasant saying this time?"
    The ignore function just makes sure that I read every...freakin...post by someone I blocked.

    I usually just click if it's a well known trusted source or person, otherwise I check the link first. Haven't caused any problems so far.

    sooooooooooooooo why don't threads started by people on your ignore list appear greyed out etc or at least the OP at the start?

    I accidently replied to a person on my list and onlly realised when they posted afterwards

    I don't want to reply to people on my ignore list that is why they are there angry

    people change usernames or I forget that they gave me a bad response in the past that warranted my not wanting to engage them again.
