interesting ignore function

apparrently if someone puts you on ignore you cannot reply to their threads or edit any previous posts in it

I never knew this

I removed the link as not wishing to make a personal attack on anyone 

I was going to edit my post saying post removed OP on ignore so do not offend in future by answering a question but since they seemingly have me already on ignore it is impossible

so even if it was an important topic I could not reply to another person in a thread started by someone who has me on ignore?

I wish the forum simply did not show ignored persons posts instead of all this unneeded complexity

    dunno but I posted in thread I linked and now cannot or edit 

    or even report myself for suggesting DAZ uses the Google site search algorythm

    Done. I can see you again! yeah. Maybe the other thread is borked. Or maybe you have to have the other person on ignor prior to starting the thread for it to work.

    LOL well since we are talking about things that will get ignored I would like to see DAZ Studio extend animation and posing wise via:

    1) Add a new set of invisible surfaces that are painted like muscles weightmaps

    2) Extend the animation / pose system such that I can say have Actor A stand in place and his left index finger tip (don't know what that muscle is called) touch Actor B's right small back area (I don't know what the muscles there are called either)

    3) And repeat until Actor A & Actor B are posed.

    4) Extend to apply to things like reaching for a door knob or a book or something with character being translated X,Y,Z or auto-locomoted in in the wrong position (or auto-run, jog, ...)

    This way we can make pose sets and animations that will always work no matter the shape or height or size of the character.

    railroad away I am actually pretty hard to upset I only ignore people who already probably have me long ago it has to be very pointed to the extent they report me etc before I do as a rule

    Okay speaking of things to be ignored.... has anyone rendered Genesis 8 tongue convincingly? I honestly can’t get a good pose out of it...

    BTW, I believe I asked this question once before: what happens if you ignore yourself? Will you disappear completely and cease to exist? Powerful stuff not to be trifled with, I expect.

    ah, okay - so it's the viewing of profiles that's not allowed without signing in  - and without that you can't go to the 'posts by...'

    Sorry, don't mean to railroad although I'm not sure what that is outside a real rr, I don't have a DAZ forum ignore list but have one a mile long on FB, LOL, besides generally ignoring FB itself. My friends & kin are on FB is the only reason I mess with it at all as the 'professional media' clickbate on FB are atrocious. Well there are gardening pages & tourist pages & such that are very nice on FB.

    It does. And all you see is a faded out box that says: "You are ignoring USERNAME. Show comment?" or something along those lines. Then if you want you can click and see their comment.
