Can't install Mimic with the standalone (no daz studio path), DIM gives "failed to load plugin"?

    Mimic Live. I tried the 64 bit version from the download page, and also both versions from the install manager. Install manager gave the red failed plugin notice, and the downloaded file just refused to install since it couldnt find the install path.

    In "About installed plugins" the plugin is red and says "plugin failed to load".

    OK, so Install Manager isn't itself giving an error. Are you using the current version of DS (4.10.0.123) with the current version of the plug-in? A mismatch is the most liekly cause of the issue.

    Ok I'm on 4.10.0.113. What's the best way to upgrade? And thank you!

    If you installed manually you can do the same again, just redownload the isntaller. If you isntalled via DIM the new version should appear listed as an update in the Ready To Download tab. I would recommend installing via DIM now as it makes it easier to be sure you are up-to-date, though you do have to make a manual back-up of the isntaller if you want the option to roll back in future.
