In future, I'll provide more options for specular settings because lighting does change the specularity a lot and it can be tricky. I angst over skin settings the whole process!
I'm always aware that lots of people will dive in and know what they're doing and tweak things - but a lot of people don't know how so I'll try to accomodate for that without overwhelming with too many options... (which I hate)

@xyer0 - Someday :( . I just havent been able to complete anything I find worthy enough to sell. I have at least 10 g8 characters that have been completely abandoned if not more. I just hate everything I make for Studio. Thankfully though Saiy is making up for it. She's just so freakin talented!!
I'm sure I speak for a lot of people and would love to peek behind closed doors and see what you thought wasn't good enough. @_@

You know how it goes. The original theme idea falls apart, the morph sucks, the concept sucks, I cant light this sh*t, omg she looks like she was hit in the face with a shovel, was I drunk last night?,I hate g8... I could keep going - but these are the trials and tribulations I face everytime I attempt to create a character. G3 imo was way easier and Im not sure why. UGGGHHH. But anyways Saiy - I love your characters. They all have concept, personality, detail, style, and such diversity. Really. I don't believe I have ever publicly gushed over another character artist in the fifteen years Ive been doing this (showing my age here). And IceDragon - thank you :)

Top/Gloves: Rin Anime Armor w/ textures from OOT PBR Texture Styles; Pants: Natsume Archer Outfit w/ textures from HEROINE by Anagord; Shoes: Crochet Dress w/ textures because NONE of the non-G8F shoes I wanted to use would work, not even flats! Needed a Strat and found this excellent freebie that has material zones for almost every part. Subdivided it to smooth out the edges. I wanted a blonde neck, but the fingerboard and headstock are one surface, and I didn't want to lose the Fender insignia. (And I didn't feel like editing the surface and trying to make sure the jagged edges of the Geometry Editor were hidden under the nut). The frets and pearl dot inlays are on separate surfaces than the fingerboard, though; so, I used lots of Mec4d and some car paint for the body (though it didn't turn out as white as I would have liked). The lower three strings are wound! But this backfired on me because I had to flip the guitar since Jimi played righthanded guitar lefthanded with the strings restrung; (Albert King & Eric Gales just turned the righthanded guitar upside down and played it lefthanded).
Messiah amp stack is also a freebie found here. With that name, I had to use it rather than my Merlin stack. Plus, it's yellow (or creme, if you like, but I think I should have leathered it up, though there's already enough grain in the render
)! I failed to achieve the look I wanted, but after a day and a half rendering, I decided to post it here anyway.
