I have FaceGen Pro which I got on sale from Daz. It only has options for genesis 1 2 and 3 figures in the export file so as far as I know it doesn't work with Genesis 8 figures.
Just had time now to figure this out with the link you gave me and worked perfectly. Didnt use the textures that where made for gen 3 though i did that with one of the gen 8 models. Thanks!!!

There may be a cool way to add your own skin textures and fix the FaceGen faces to look even more realistic by

It is a Photoshop layered template with many options to re-paint and re-work ALL the skins to your pleasure and to
make those models look perfect. Even tho it was created for working on Genesis 3 skins, you can always re-paint the G5F skins.
You will need Photoshop to use it.
Re-paint the G8F skin you mean @Max_theHitman. And thanks for that. I was already working with the textures that came with the models. Well for the once that are allowed to be changed. Copyrighted stuff isnt possible to post.
But this way is more easy then i do now. So thanks for this.
@Max_theHitman thanks again mate for the link of "bow to build a babe" its working fine and its amazing stuff. Much less work then applying stuff your self from other textures. And indeed you can add other textures fromn other models of g3 and g8. Great stuff.

THANK YOU to Hinkypunk ... she has also created some amazing models too, check out her stuff... https://www.daz3d.com/hinkypunk
Even though you are able to transfer some skin textures and things over to the Genesis 8 models from other sources (for your personal use and experimenting) ,
keep in mind that the face texturing will not look so realistic - unless you also sculpt and morph the face of the Genesis-8 model to have the same face features as
the real person or celebrity you are using from a FACEGEN image-source.
Its not an easy task , but its alot of fun to make a face sculpture.
Also , using the "Build a Babe Skin textures" templates you can tweak the skin coloring and textures using Photoshop or Gimp to look even more
realistic, or add on tattoos on the skins ... or even make a few "body parts" if you are creating your own Frankenstein monster !
Facegen just needs to come out with export for genesis 8 then no sculpting needed ;) thanks again
But i do need to disagree on this that the model would not look the same. I thing it depends more on goodlighting and good resolution when creating facegen. Take Olvia Wilde for example.

If you use that pic tweak the lighting in photoshop abit so the the cheeck bones are even more good visable... then i will garanty you... it will look very extreemly similar. Try it..;)
So just seen that facegen with genesis 8 is out. Havent tried it out yet tonight and if i have the update download link from facegen as i bought the way before i was starting with daz3d.
As we speak im getting the email from facegen support with the dl update.
So thats going to be fun with some trial and error runs tonight. Cant wait...hope it works... as for genesis 3 it was amazingly real looking but less textures then the genesis 8. Excited!!!!

Yes. Use the Transfer Utility tool to transfer Genesis 3 face morphs to Genesis 8.

There is also this abbreviated set of instructions to transfer G3 to G8 FaceGen morphs that was posted in the FaceGen Google Discussion/Support Forum:

Olivia Wilde is a very lovely looking woman. Goddess looking face!
Great choice for a Genesis model. I wish you the best in creating her likeness for DAZ-studio.
I am working on not so pretty girls, old-time celebrities, but very charming girls none-the-less. I am still new to
this DAZ-3d thing but I am having a great time experimenting and learning new tricks.
Yeah, if FACEGEN does come up with a Genesis-8 conversion it would be most welcomed by all artists.
