    I had to take him out of my cart, log out, then log back in and add him to see the discount added.

    Logging out and in after dumping the cart worked.  Thanks @jenniferhughey

    @y3kman Try logging out and logging back in. That's fixed it for a several people in the "Owen 8" thread. :)

    Hmmmmm.... Ok. Maybe I'll just get the base figure and the longer hair. I'd love to get Keni's pro bundle for free, but I can't afford $66. Ah well, to bad so sad.

    Edit. I refreshed and now it's down to $44; that I can rationalize. I just hope it stays that price till friday.

    There's a slight glitch with the current sale (plus a workaround).

    The Owen 8 page says 'choose 2 of these pro bundles for free', with a list of 8 Genesis 2 Pro bundles to choose from. I have all but 1 of the 8 Pro bundles offered (OK, yes, I have a problem; can we not talk about that now?). So I can only add the 1 remaining bundle to my cart. But with only 1 of the eligible bundles in my cart, that bundle shows up in the cart at full price.

    The workaround seems to be to go to the product page for one of the bundles I already own, and click on the big red Purchased button to add that item to my cart. The price for both bundles then drops to $0.00.

    Strange that the orange banner today offers a discount on Owen 8 base or Owen 8 Pro Bundle. Can't be used with the Starter Bundle, or is it just a typo?

    Thanks. Logging out and relogging back fixed the problem with the orange banner.

    DAZ has been neglecting the starter bundles for some of their recent offerings. They either make you buy the base figure or the pro bundle to get the discount.

    Just updating to state that there's now a new banner stating that those who qualified for the extra 30% off but bought before the offer worked have now been credited the difference. I confirmed that I did in fact receive the difference in store credit.

    The banner/message says the 30% off offer is good until Jan. 22. And I would think Owen would certainly keep his other discounts by this Friday. Maybe take a screenshot of the banner just to be sure, and in case you have to submit a support ticket?

    I absolutely screenshotted my cart this time. I'm going to have to do a ticket anyway to get back the balance of my PC+ coupon that never works right with freebies in the cart.

    This seems to be working on a single bundle now.

    1--Owen 8. I noticed that Marketing has finally noted the understandable "No freebies for new Starter Bundles, when you offer them for Pro Bundles and Base characters" complaints by offering discounts on Owen add-ons for Starter and Base purchasers, and that's good. Unfortunately, I won't be taking advantage of that. I decided at the Gen 8 release that it didn't make sense for me to get into it (and I am not the only one judging from posts I've read). FWIW to Marketing, offering free items/bundles with purchase of a new Pro/Starter/Base is more appealing to me. I have purchased several new bases or even pro bundles not so much because I wanted New Model right then but for the freebies, since New Model/bundle cost less than what Freebie did. Plus I'd have New Model already purchased--at a great price--when/if I needed it.

    2--I am not seeing the free items mentioned, like Stephanie 6 & Graveyard, not even when I log out, not today or yesterday. Not a big problem as I am pretty sure I already have Stephanie 6 and anything I wanted from the other.

I rarely pick up the freebie offers any more, as all I see are textures for things I don't have (and don't want) I'm even scraping the bottom of the barrel to use my Plat Club vouchers each month. Maybe Daz could dump all the old Generation 1 and 2 stuff, and bring more V3 and later items into the freebie lists?

The point was merely that the included Generation 1/2 figure was an exception. Stephanie 6 Starter Bundle is, though. If you aren't seeing it, you already have the bundle. Uncheck the box next to Hide items I own, and she'll show up, along with anything else you've already "purchased."

    ISSUE: Today's sale page, Overcome Your Nightmares, is displaying 58% discounts on several Daz Originals in the "60% OFF* Related Items" section. These items are coming up with the same discount in the cart as Daz Originals displaying a 30% discount.

    The first attached screenshot is a small section of the Related Items, showing both items that are currently in my cart, one is 30% before applying the 60%, the other is 58% before applying the 60%. The second screenshot is of the cart, showing that both items have the same discount in the cart.

    At the risk of today's forum mod missing my post about discounts not working correctly, I'd really like to point out what I think is a big deal in today's offer: The new releases required to qualify for the 10% discount on Gift Cards will also receive an additional 10% in the cart.

    There have been a lot of customer complaints in this thread, and elsewhere I'm sure, about new release purchase requirements, because we couldn't buy the GC and then use it to buy those new releases.

    Now use that newly acquired store credit to get everything else you want from today's sale, (or any of the active offers.)
