Has Daz totally abandoned Poser as a platform?

I remember that DSON plug-in that could be used to import G1 - G3 figures into Poser, but haven't seen much support for that as of late.  Is G8 stuff workable in Poser or has Daz said "Deuces" to the application as a whole?  LOL.

    Only G1 and G2 could be used with the importer. This topic has been hashed out ad nauseum for years; but the bottom line is DAZ gave SM a list of things they needed to have in order to have genesis properly supported in Poser. Until SM actually does any of it, it's not much DAZ can do. 

    Any concerns you have really should be directed at Smith Micro, not DAZ. They are ultimately responsible for your content needs since you purchased their software.

    It wasn't so much a concern to contact support for another piece of software but more of a discussion.  But thanks for your answer. :)

    Also, it was just something I noticed as I try to keep track of G3 and G8 stuff that there doesn't seem like there is much support for Poser.  I don't really use Poser much nowadays anyway, but it was just an observation.

    I'm sure you can find one of the many previous discussion on this topic in this forum and others. It's been done to death for almost 8 years and only ends up in a big fight and a thread lock. I'm sure you could join one of those discussion on that new Poser figure released last week and see how that will get you content you need. A much more positive way of discussion IMO.

    Project E. If you want to avoid NSFW content steer clear of searching. It's probably the best figure Poser has ever had, but female only.
