Preload vs. Ready To Render vs. Pre-Set Render Settings

Can someone please explain the difference? For example, many of i3's scenes have a Preload thumbnail and a Ready To Render thumbnail. Other's have Camera Preset.

Preload loads all the necessary items in the room set.

Ready to render also includes cameras, lights and render settings.

Camera presets adds cameras to the scene that have a specific angle/position, for example like in the promos.

Render settings change the settings in the render tab, for example bloom and light strength stettings.

  • Excellent explanation. Thank you!
