Dforce with hair is very slow

Is anyone else finding that using Dforce with hair is extremely slow as compared to using it with just clothing?

    To be fair, it's not designed for use with hair, and DAZ has said as much.

    ETA: And almost all hairs available in the store are not designed for (cloth) simulation.

    I'm having no problems with hair. Then again, it's probably the way I'm doing it.
