I was going through my shelf of DVDs that I haven't watched yet, reading the descriptions.
From the back of "In Till You Die":

"There's only one problem, the mark is the most vicious of all mobsters,
Sam, the owner of Sam's Club..."

I have got to watch this movie now!
    Those evil Waltons!

I'm still busy styding some computer courses.  Some videos have tinny audio.  I wonder if the microphone is too far from the teacher or the microphone gain is set to low.

Could be just a cheap, crappy, mic!

For a while yesterday there was no link at all to the Christmas stuff.  It came back last night.

There are things in the Fast Grab that are only 30% off.  And a few things that have no discount at all.  I can understnad this at 2:05 am, but it's 1:30 pm!

For some reason putting the Poser serial number into Carrara does not work. I wonder why?  When I got the serial from the daz serial number page it worked.

    did it work for poser?smiley

  • It’s really cold outside and I have to get up early in the morning (on a saturday no less) to go help out with a special project at work.  I would much rather sleep in  and then play with some of the things I have purchased during the current sale.

...yes, every Friday night at 7:30 PM where I lived,

    It's 46deg outside.
Supposed to be motorcycle weather tomorrow, dry and 59deg.
    Want to try new seat.

Bought a gift gard with 1 new item to use to purchase more, but they never show up in my email.
Sent a ticket asking for store credit.
Hope I get it before a price jump.
Took screenshot of new cart, just in case.

Hate filling my cart and deciding to buy a gift card.
Have to open a new tab for every item.
Then dump cart, add one item and gift card.
Then refresh every tab and add items back to cart and wait for credit.
    Real pain with 20+ items.
Wish there was an easier way, like multiple carts or something.

...I was on a bus during a sleet and freezing rain storm back in the 60s.  When we approached a light that just turned red, the driver hit he brakes and the bus began sliding sideways right towards a railway underpass with bridge supports in the middle of the street.  He hit the accelerator and steered into the skid getting the bus to point forwards again narrowly missing the central bridge supports.

There was another time when I was something like 11 or 12 and we had a heavy snowfall.  School was called off at mid day and I remember the city bus I was on (one of the old gas powered ones they had - see below) getting stuck in deep snow at a stop and several older passengers got out to help push it actually getting us out and going again.

Really cold here this morning too.  There was even a threat of ..."freezing rain".

This would have been really bad as I had finally made arrangements to get a van rented and the rest of my stuff out of the storage facility today. Fortunately it didn't start raining until we finished.  It took two and a half hours with three of us, a van, a small car and only one hand truck (the other one I had rented had a flat tyre and was useless, at least I got a refund for that).

Apartment looks like a mini warehouse right now but within the next week everything will be unpacked and put in its proper place.

Not 3D, real items (which are real 3D, not a digital trick to the eyes.)  Puppets and sometimes stop motion animation.  The ones that were puppets, you could see the strings sometimes, often actually.  laugh

Yay Stingray and Captain Scarlet! Loved those shows as a kid. Had all the toys. (and bought the box sets when they came out of DVD!) Precursors to the FABulous Thunderbirds laugh Heck I even went to see the live action stage show! Twice!

One thing about those puppet shows: you never saw a character walk through a doorway . . .

Complaint:  Arghhh..., it's snowing still.  Lake Effect from lake Erie.  My car still isn't completely dug out from the first snowfall and now it's buried again.  And unfortunately, now the temperature is just a few degrees below freezing.   Just warm enough to turn it all into heavy, sticky, back breaking glop.  I tried to dig out my car a couple days ago but after I got about 3/4 done my heart started going wonky and I had to quit before I became a lump buried under the snow 'till spring. no  I need to find me a healthy, enterprising young'n with a shovel.

Non-complaint: An old computer repair customer of mine bought a new computer and brought it to me to set up and transfer data from his old computer.  So, this will help out with my budget problems for this month.  But since my SS income actually went down a dollar next year and health insurance payments and co-pays went up as well as everything else, my calculations indicate I won't be able to reliably balance my budget next year without a little supplemental income.  So, I'm started word-of-mouth advertising that I'm "back in business".  But this time I'm not going to be cheap with prices 20 years behind the times.  If they want me to do the type of job I can do, I'm going to charge modern prices for it.  And I'm the only one around here who will do house calls, and believe me that's going to cost too! yes I'd gotten used to being retired.  Don't want to work again but apparently I have to. indecision

do not open the email,  do not react to the email, except to dump said email in the spam folder and then having done that to delete it from your system by emtying the spam folder

Dim is not showing all my content I fear.  I am missing the Genesis 2 starter essentials.  Actually the only starter essentials I have are Genesis 8.
