Any G3 clothing can be worn on G8. For that matter Any G1 and G2 clothing can also be warn on G8. Genesis 8 comes with clones for past Genesis figures allowing G8 to wear the older clothing.
Yes I know Diva, but the result is seldom satisfying and often troublesome, from my short experience...
I kinda agree with Orpheus13. The autofit for G3 stuff on G8 can still be problematic. Sickleyield's tut gives better results usually, but not all G3 stuff fits well.
And don't ever raise G8F's arms.....

With the discount (check your messages in your account, as usual, there's no orange banner yet), the PC+ discount, and then using the DO coupon from PC+, the Pro Bundle is a sweet deal. I'd hate NOT to be a PC member right now. If everyone who got slighted would use the Help and do "general feedback" I wonder if it would help. I think the main thing going in your favor is indeed that 50% off to non-members offer that happened, while PC+ members don't get that option offered now.

I believe it's the T-Pose versus A-Pose issue, discussed at length in other threads. There are pros and cons to both.

Today's BOYB is working seemlessly for me: there is one product display box that appears after Quickening Decay for Parkside Point, but no product ever loads into it for me. I've tried several times on an iPhone and also on a Mac. I have reloaded the page, closed and reopened the page, killed and restarted my browser—nothing works. There's always just a box with a spinning circle in it.

I can’t help but find it hilarious that people are already snubbing G3 stuff. I mean, I don’t blame them. I was uneasy about G2 stuff when I started. I just feel very much... on the other side of where I was 14 months ago.
eta: I will say this is the sale where I learned to love the older stuff too and I hope that happens for other newer folks.

Agreed. been here 11+ years and have learned to get the most out of my addons and the program so I don't have to rely on plug and play..
I am all about realism, but I haven't seen much to make me jump on the G8 bandwagon yet, but to each their own.
I think Wear Them All for G8 will be a game changer. The autofit will hopefully work a lot better. It certainly was a godsend for G3. I love G8 but if a character is offered in both, I tend to use G3 simply because I have more tools and options at this point and the fitting is so much easier. That may change as I continue to invest in G8 tools. Very excited to see what's coming next!
Dual lobe has the potential of increasing G8 realism, since most new skins using it will be for G8. However, I'm holding out for the next Anagenessis or V3D product. I imagine they'll incorporate dual lobe and anything that works on G8 skins has a high probability of working on G3 skins.

I paid full price for my first year and didn't regret it. I extend it whenever there's a good sale. I'm renewed through 2019. 
Strangely enough, I think G3 is more realistic looking. G8 tends to look more like plastic dolls, imo. Very weird faces also. Sticking w/G3 for the time being.
That should be fairly soon. DimensionZ mentioned on his DeviantArt posts that he's submitted it. Can't wait! NGS Anagenessis 3, dForce and Wear Them All are fantastic tools.

I'm not opposed to any version 8 stuff, but nothing has caught my eye yet except Honey. And I only got her for the antenna. The problem I have now is if I try to put them on G3F, they loose their bone parameters. Is there a way to transfer my G3F character morphs to G8F? And skins, and...
You could try parenting, or use the Transfer Utility with Merge Hierarchies? Then again, they're probably geografts, so you may have to do some additional tweaking.
In my case its not so much about the value of the PC but about the slap in the face to PC members, I had less than a week, I think, left in my membership when they offered non PC members 50% off, I've been a member for years and often paid full price, it just seemed to me that they really don't care whether people rejoin or not, they are much more interested in new members than showing any appreciation to long term members.
Think of it this way: the goal is to sign people up _and then convince them it's worth full price (or only a mild discount) to renew_. If they haven't done that for you, the failure is on them and you can simply not renew. If you DO think it's worth the money, then the more people who sign up, the better. Yeah? And if you HAVE been a member for years, well, there's tons of products you got for free that I am jealous of because now they're DOs and DO priced (not even PC+ priced) and I have to pay for them if I want them.
Yes. All G3F skins that use the base UVs already work on G8F. You can transfer character morphs using Singular Blues' script. You can use the plethora of bizarro G7 base UVs with Redz' product. You can change clothes through autofit or by using Sickleyield's method (which is much better). Hair and other things that only involve the torso or face can be easily switched over just by changing scene identification to G8F, since the head and torso geometry and rigging stayed the same.

BOTH were on my WL...Yay! Nice thing about just a large groundscape like Jackson's Field, is that you can use it to place other props and houses. Add a ring of billboard trees and you've got an instant clearing in the woods. I consider the farm buildings and props to be some nice extras. The Apple Orchard is another good set for that.
I've not renewed and have also not bought a DO since my membership ran out, I would most likely buy the new male figure pro bundle but won't because its a DO.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by things I got free, if you mean the weekly and monthly freebies then they often get used as free things in other promotions, where you can get them free with a purchase, I got them free because I had paid for my membership if you had been a paid up member at the time then you would have got them free as well.
