can DS bake texture, bake the lie make up on to skin and export as new texture?
mebbe even offset lie layer a smidge ?
some make ups arent blending with the skin, looks like overlays. too shiny
is there a way to blend the lie layer with the skin, then bake it to new texture?
a bit of transparency or add the skin's bump map to the lie make up layer?

You could just use an image editor, load the base map and the make-up layer, tweak, save under a new name. You can also get the combined .tif file that DS generates from the temp folder - that, I believe, is how the LIE Baker script works.
LIE already bakes the textures and saves as a numbered .png file in to your temp folder. Copy them from the temp to a known Runtime/Textures/ folder or sub folder, give them new sensable names and re-link them in the Surface pane.
