Genessis 8 assets for Genessis 3

Can assets designed for Gen 8 be used on Gen 3?

Im not talking about verry specific things like anatomy parts or skin textures. In this case its a dress: https://www.daz3d.com/peppermint-ivy-dress-for-genesis-8-female-s

If i was to try this on a Gen 3 female what sort of problems can (or will) i expect. At some point i will likely make the transition to G8 bt for now im still using G3.

I named this dress but just noticed it only has iray textures so lets make this question more general to clothing as a whole.

    Yeah, you should be able to transfer them fairly easily. Shoes tend to be an issue when transferring between figures, but clothing should transfer. @SickleYield did a great tutorial on how to transfer clothing between G8 and G3:
