Dynamic Clothing that won't 'Fit'
When I try to load dynamic clothing in DAZ 4.9, it no longer automatically fits to the figure. I remember using DAZ 3.4(?) and how extremely easy using Dynamic Clothing was. I remember loading a character, posing it, putting the Dynamic Clothing on ( protruding parts poked out, but it had a general fit to the figure), then draping it after tinkering with 'collide'. It was great!
Here's an example of how easy it was. Link removed
I try to load clothing to the model, but it just ends up floating in the zero'd position. I attempted to parent it, but that didn't work. I tried the drape by animation trick, but that didn't work. I'm trying to figure out if the interface changed, if I've got some weird setting on, or if I'm loading it wrong (all I do is double click to load after selecting my figure).
Any help would be very much appreciated!

Are you using it on the figure it was made for? Dynamics don't AutoFit, though the animation approach certainly should work (pose the figure and/or clothes so there is a fit in frame 0, then apply your desired pose in the last frame, go back to frame 0 and start an animated drape).
First, toggle the "fit to" by fitting it to the character and then "fit to" none. This assigns the dynamic clothe to the character but it doesn't take the shape just yet. Then adjust the collide to only the elements you need to, typically just the hip of the character. The clothing will look out of place and un-fitted but use the transition to place it as close as possible to the character. Then hit drape (single frame) to test the fit. The clothing should spring into action and eventually have the right fit.
I've done this to G3F characters using V4 clothing without issue.
Hope that helps.
This happens all the time to me; do a manual fit-to instead. Select the clothes (you must do this in the Scene pane, it won't work in the Viewport), go to the Parameters pane and set the Fit To for the figure.
Parenting is not fitting-to, it doesn't adjust the clothes pose to match the figure.
