DAZ unloadable after installing updates

After downloading Daz Studio 4.9+ update with DIM, and the Measure Metrics updates, I cannot access Daz Studio at all:

I redownloaded the program with DIM, let the exe run, and still nothing.

Desktop shortcuts are gone, and even navigating to the .exe file location doesn't help.

 

Any ideas?

    UPdate - I"ve reinstalled DAZ Studio into a new directory, so it's working.  Now to slowly add the registered plugins and add-ons <sigh>

    Mcafee.... but I wonder if that would be it since I reinstalled into a new directory...

    Thanks.  I will see if that works , to recover my 'original ' install!
