Helmet protruding through cloak

Hello again, having fixed the lantern issue I am almost done with my pet project character and I have noticed that the armor I bought for him does not line up and part of the helmet protrudes through the cloak hood, these are both from the same set by the way. https://www.daz3d.com/wildenlander-hd So I am wondering how to prevent that section of the helmet from protruding through the cloak hood, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I suppose if all else fails, you could try a couple of d-formers and tug that part of the hood outward from the helmet.

You can also use the geometry editor to select the offending bits, create a new surface and then hide them.  Probably harder than using the deformers in this case, but also an option and may come in more handy than deformers in others.

Before resorting to D-formers or the Geometry editor, can you answer a couple of questions? First, is the cape/hood autofitted, and if so to what? Second, have you used any of the morphs for the hood included with the product? In particular, ensure that the "no helmet" morph is not active, then try adjusting the width, etc. using the other morphs?
