This website needs a better search feature

To whom it may concern ...

There are a LOT of stuff on here and I know that they are here but they do not show up in a search. For example, this product [ https://www.daz3d.com/eldritch-seeker ] and this product [ https://www.daz3d.com/bad-guy-for-m4 ] have "holsters" but if you do a search for "holsters", they do not come up. This is just ONE example. I would be buying a whole lot more stuff if it was easier to find it. I've been buying a lot of stuff elsewhere and I would rather buy them here because the install is much easier and I think that it is a pretty good bet that they are here but they do not come up in a search.

...the forums could defintely use a better one as well with actual filters like it used to have years ago

I AGREE. I can never find anything and you have to ask the other forum members to make recommendations.

I understand that a product can't use ultra-common names in its title, but sometimes I hate when they call their products names that have nothing to do with the item and do not use tags.

I can usually find what I am searchi9ng for in the store, the forums on the other hand, not!

Believe it or not, I use straight google to search for help and it leads to the forums.

I get hits and link results for the fake manual doc that never helps and then forum posts,

    Sometimes they're old, though.

For the forums I use google like so ... "site://www.daz3d.com/forums <search term>" (without the quotes).

...the matter is we should not have to go outside the forums to search. I am on other forums which actually have useful search engines.

They should allow users to suggest custom tags and display all associated tags for each item. Considering how little the store offers beyond the default magneto functionality I would not pin my hopes though.

Forum search, I believe is different from store search as they are on different platforms.

Items need to be tagable. If you are looking for PJ's for example, but the PA calls it luxury night wear, you may have trouble locating what you are looking for.

The store search actually works quite well. The problem mostly is that the product descriptions sometimes say absolutely nothing about the product. If the PAs actually described their product in detail, then we would have no problem finding stuff. And the PAs would get more sales. So I really don't understand why they don't do it.
