FYI, I see "SY Rigged Waterfalls Iray" exists! Woohoo! https://www.daz3d.com/sy-rigged-waterfalls-iray Still installing, haven't had a chance to play yet, but I see there are several different sizes and they include separate spray props as well as the main bulk of the waterfall.

You've given us a link to your product library page which doesn't work for anyone else. I think the one you want is https://www.daz3d.com/sy-rigged-waterfalls-iray
whoops, thanks, corrected.
.
Why is it iRay only? Or is it just the shaders used?
cause IRAY RULES! LOL
you can probably get it to work if you have your own 3DL water shaders
Finally had a moment to try it out. Since I'm trying to get it to work in 3DL, I tried using the conversion script. I'm missing something obvious though, because I can't seem to get the opacity working, not sure what I'm missing. It looks like it should be working... but I'm getting black squares around the outside of each droplet (the droplets are mapped onto numberous randomly angled tiny planes.) For testing I tried changing the bump and displacement to zero too but that doesn't seem to be the cause either. What am I missing?
Just an iray render of SY rigged waterfalls and one of its shaders applied to the terrain exported from Bryce to Daz Studio.
Just figured out the answer to my previous question. You have to set the "Refraction Strength" parameter to zero to get rid of the square around each drop.
Just for kicks, here's a random waterfall test, using waterfall 13, plus two copies of the spray for it, rendered in 3DL. I forget which shader I applied to the body of the waterfall, the spray just used the iray-to-3DL conversion script plus setting the refraction strength to zero.
This one uses one of the waterfalls as the water pouring out of the downspout. Iray render. I just shrank it down and then lengthened it to suit. It didnt' stretch weirdly when I lengthened it either which was really nice.
