You're good @JUJU.  Wish the jewelry was separate though.  I have no need for the dress and shoes but I sure will wishlist it in case it goes on sale.  Thanks again

I'd really encourage folks to consider getting involved in some simple modelling to make stuff like this. I find it so nice to decide "hey, I really need this thing", then jump over to Blender (or wherever) and in 20 minutes I've made it and exported.

I was waiting for a render and I made a similar choker. Took about 20 minutes, mainly because I tried the heart a few different ways. The render finished before I did, so it needs more work. But you can do all kinds of jewelry and dynamic clothing so quick and easy.

    Just sayin'....smiley

Do you know of a good and easy to follow tutorial on how to do that? :)

There's tons of Youtube videos on Blender. But I can give you a quick summary of how I did the one I posted:

    1. Add mesh cylinder for the leather collar. I have Blender preferences set to feet and inches, so the cylinder was like 3" radius and 1" high, with no end caps.
    2. Alt-select the top and bottom ring of edges, hit E for extrude, then S to scale them in to get the top and bottom thickness
    3. Add subdiv modifier, then loop cuts and extrude to make the top and bottom "fold over" seams. That does it for the collar.
    4. For the heart, find a reference image for a heart on the web, add it to the ortho view ("n" key to add the image), then add a circle with a tiny diameter for the metal wire.
    5. Just extrude ("E") the circle, following the background heart image, but only do one half of the heart.
    6. When it's done, select the heart half and apply mirror modifier. Now you have a complete heart.
    7. Apply subiv modifier to the heart with 3 smoothing levels and you're done.
    8. Now select both the heart and the collar and under Tools/Edit select Join to make them one object.
    9. Now most importantly, select the mesh of the heart (select a face then select Linked) and apply a material. Do the same for the Collar.
    10. And final step, the very very most important, in Edit mode select all faces, hit "U", and UV unwrap.
    11. Export as OBJ and you're done.

Yeah, and I'm the first to say that Blender is poorly designed and counter-intuitive. I mean, it starts out expecting you to select stuff with the right mouse button. Insane.

However, if you put some time into customizing it a bit, keep in mind that for most stuff you want to make there are really only a handful of procedures you'll need. Maybe they're not the best in every case, but they'll get you there. For the most part you can just start by adding a primitive mesh that looks kinda sorta like what you want, and then scale and extrude and get to where you want to go. Add materials, and UV map, and you're done without having to learn the encyclopedia.

You're good @JUJU.  Wish the jewelry was separate though.  I have no need for the dress and shoes but I sure will wishlist it in case it goes on sale.  Thanks again

Yeah I bought it on sale just for the jewelry haha. There seems to be such a lack of good jewelry for Genesis 3 so I get it where i can!

I have your swag as well Especially love your bangles and the shaders are to die for. Love the pearl shaders the most

Speaking of pearls...about to release a pearl and enamel bangle momentarily ;).

Anyway....didn't mean to derail the thread.

I don't have Blender but I'll see if I can figur out how to do that in ZBrush. Thank you! :)
