4.9.4 Why still no DIM?

I only use DIM.
Why the latest release 4.9.4 is not available as an auto upgrade via DIM? Gen 8 already is.

It is and has been since release. I don't understand why DIM on your end is not showing it for you to download and install.
Do you have the previous release installed (4.9.3.166)? Read this post and see if that helps:

I have it on mine.
Do make sure that you have at least the following in DIM checked (Settings - Downloads):
Daz Studio 4.5+
General
Software
Plugin
Windows or Mac (Depending on your OS)
When I started DIM using the desktop shortcut it showed up under product updates at the top inside DIM. There are three updates Daz Studio 4.9, GoZ for Daz 4.9 and Install Manager default filters
I know all of this, all is checked in the DIM poreference, and....nada
In DIM check to see if you have DS hidden. I had hid the previous release because I didn't want to install it. So, when 4.9.4 came out I had to display the hidden "To be Installed" files for DS and unhide it in order to see it to download the latest version.
Can you download and install it from your Product page?
Optionally, you can locate, download and install DAZ Studio Pro from the Product Library [once you are logged into your account] by entering "DAZ Studio 4.9 Pro" into the text field near the top left of the page and clicking the "Filter" button, or by clicking here. Then, simply click the green "download & install" button to launch Install Manager with an appropriate filter.
No, I just can't. I even deleted the IM00013176-02_DAZStudio49Win64bit.dsx and zip in the DIM directory (those are 4.9.3). Restart dim nada
click install & download in product page nada, nothing is hidden. It's really getting on my nerve as everything worked fine the past 2 years
Have you done a hard refresh of DIM? Hold down CTRL while hitting the refresh button in DIM. I've had to do it a couple times and then the stuff showed up.
I had the same problem as well. For me, DIM was not showing hidden files even though "show hidden files" was checked. I resolved this issue by manually searching for the SKU of the product. Then it magically appeared in the list again.
In your case, try typing this into the DIM search: "sku::13176" (without quotes).
