    Yikes!

That last Summer was awful!! As Ariah well knows, me saying I'm done with Summer is like George Lucas when he said he was done with the original Star Wars trilogy!

This time, I think I'm there. The trick to it was to keep all the modifications within the confines of the original face. Having done that I was on a roll.

Now she will get some clothes and hair!

    CHEERS!

PS (A good thing to remember is to set edge interpolation to soft curves.)

I found something out last night and I wish I’d known it earlier. Nobody told me that, to use Gen X properly, you need to load a blank Genesis first and then dial what you transferred! DOH!!

I did wonder why things looked different to how I was expecting

To quote a relative of Cameron: “I’ll be back!”

We all make mistakes. I've made enough for a dozen people. Sometimes I forget to dial up the V4 Genesis shape when using my converted morphs; they do look a bit off. (I haven't converted any morphs for other figures yet.)

I found this tutorial to be very helpful; http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2851334. The process is a little longer, but it seems to work well.

Yeah, I saw that and the video tutorial someone else posted. I just skipped the bit in the manual where you were supposed to load a blank Genesis before dialing anything. Everything else was a cinch and so is dialing now I know who to load.

    Hello,

Does anyone know of a good Raquel Welch morph? I read somewhere that the CSI Cora B morph was meant to be Raquel but I can't seen to see the resemblance, at least with the textures that I have used so suggestions about txtures would be of help as well.

    Thanks for any repkies.

    Check this out:

    http://www.daz3d.com/vanessa-for-v4

Look at the first bonus morph, change the top lip a little and I reckon you'd be pretty darn close. The texture looks about right too! If you want a One Million Years BC look then Rhiannon did some decent gear with her Elsa Wylde pack.

Given the piratey theme of the prome pics, I feel confident that Reyna is a Penelope Cruz look-alike.

Yep, you're right on that one.

Nice though she is, I've always liked this one myself:

She's been around for ages and could look amazing with a Gen X body and the HSS. Some of the others they do look a bit dated, but that one has really stood the test of time somehow.

This is a Winona Ryder look-alike. I was sure until I saw the ears. Yup, it's Winona.

Can anybody ID any other of exnem's figures? Jonesy looks a lot like Rhona Mitra.

Yeah, I do see Winona in Giovanna,

Not sure who Jonesy is though.

I see more than a passing resemblance of Rhona Mitra in Jonesy.

It's hard to tell of the others. Maybe I should just start asking the modelers themselves instead of guessing myself.

Remember, we are looking for celebrity lookalikes, not just mirror images or twins. And some models can be made to look even more like a celebrity if you tweak them yourself.

i was just looking at that.

My first thought was Gemma Arterton. And I remembered she was in Clash of the Titans, so thought the Andromeda name was appropriate. Then looked up Clash of the Titans and saw she was Io in that - Alexa Davalos was Andromeda. But, while, Gemma and Alexa share certain facial features, Akexa has an even stronger jaw and a cleft chin, which MRL Andromeda doesn't have. So at the moment I'm still inclined to think that MRL Andromeda is based on Gemma Arterton.

Emilia Clarke ... can't see that. She has a much wider mouth and thicker lips, and a rather different jaw.

Is she necessarily anyone!? Names can be coincidental. I just see a nice morph.

I think exnem's Gabrielle could be Rihanna.

All of Mihrelle's others (apart from the daughter set, I think) are based on celebs. The ones of actresses I know well are extremely good and were completely obvious at first glance. And most of the others of actresses I didn't know had clues (e.g. MRL Karis ...Oh look - obvious Red Riding Hood reference in the promo pics, and I remember there was a new film of that recently, so I'll google it to find the star, who I've never seen or heard of before, and google for pictures of her ...) that made it immediately obvious who the character was modelled on at first glance at googled images of whoever.

I must say, I think Mihrelle is superb at this. Most other claimed celebrity morphs to me either (i) look like a cartoon exaggeration of the original person that I could never use in a realistic type render because they simply don't look like real people, just cartoons; or (ii) frankly look very little like whoever they are supposed to be, I have no clue who they are supposed to be from just looking at them until someone else says, and even then I just go 'Huh? You're kidding ...' Unlike most other celeb morph producers, to me Mihrelle produces morphs that (a) ALL look like real people, not cartoons; and (b) are immediately recognizable to me without prompting when they are of actresses I know well, and are mostly easily recognizable when I didn't previously know the actress but am prompted who they are.

Perhaps Andromeda is someone then, though who doesn't leap out.

On the last two promo images from:

    http://www.daz3d.com/ohia-for-michael-5

I see a resemblance to Faran Tahir. I think the nose needs a little tweaking to bring it closer.

    Anyone else see it?

I think you are right about Gemma Arterton. The one thing in Davalos's favor is the blue-green eyes in the model pictures. (Arterton's are brown). Another brown eyes possibility is Lily Collins. On the other hand, a green eyed possibility (though the mouth is too small) is Kate Middleton.

That "Andromeda" name made me hope it could be Lexa Doig before I clicked the link, but alas =(( I generally prefer making fanart morphs myself, but Lexa is very exotic looking, to my European eyes, so it's not that easy to get her right.

BTW I don't know if you have this vendor on the list, but she has a handful of very recognisable characters, like Dr House, so check her out.

This particular one is kinda tempting because the likeness is amazing, but I'm not sure anyone on this board is going to recognise him =D

That artist has good morphs of Patrick Stewart and Ian MacKellen in their "X-Men" roles, and going on the Greek-divinity theme, I'd like to have her Zeus and Hera bundle.

Personally, when I looked at MRL Andromeda's promos today, I thought she looked a little like "Downton Abbey's" Michelle Dockery. (Don't you think it's curious, by the way, that nobody seems to have come up with any character morphs based on the DA cast?)

That reminded me, Jepe did some nice morph packs for D3, one of them was Patrick Stewart.

They were on Renderosity if I remember correctly..

I've had a crush on Michelle Dockery since I saw Hogfather.
I too wish someone would model the Crawley women. Lovely, all (even Edith).

BTW, the Demeter character by Henrika is most definitely a Charlotte Comer look-alike. (She player Demeter in Clash of the Titans.)

Folks, I've been asked to do a character resembling Jennifer Aniston from Friends, and would be greatful if you have any suggestions.

I'd match the character up with a hair that resembles her iconic "Friends" hairstyle as much as possible. Anyone got any ideas?
