Just got the banner, some 4 hours after buying .. oh well, Support here I come ...
Right. The sale thread has discussed this from the get-go, because some of us were getting discounts without the banner. Mine just showed up a few minutes ago.
The special offers often focus on related content, so if a person's purchases have nothing to do with Victoria Pro Bundles then it's not surprising they don't get a banner and more discounts. I've been left out of a few myself, but it's logical IMO so I understood. Hopefully they will reward people for the things they purchased with a special promotion, when something related comes up. I agree, it would be nice if they would tier the discounts based on what has been spent, but that way has its flaws too.
No one held a gun to your head and forced you to buy ANYTHING. No one is forcing you to buy the new V8 or anything else. Genesis 8, just like all the other starter essentials is free if you WANT to try it. But you don't have to. Having some patience concerning the discounts might be a good idea. In the world of instant everything, I guess people forget what that is.
I have most other pro bundles but not the V6 one and 5 I got with Carrara

Anyone who had previously purchased pro bundles for Victoria 5, 6, or 7 but are not getting the orange banner please feel free to open a support ticket, and we will ensure you get the discount. We will also look into it on our side and see if we somehow missed some people and get it resolved.
Thank you. I doubt the Carrara V5 bundle will mean much, but 10% off is still a good discount, and even I'm impressed with V8 enough to purchase the Pro Bundle anyways. I'll give support a shot after I get home from work.

V8 won't run on Carrara, BUT I am seriously trying to scrape some pennies together to get V5, 6, 7, & 8 Pro Bundles for onle low price!

I got V8's pro bundle for just shy of 49 bucks. I got two of the three Vicky Pro Bundles previously.

I fail to see why people are bitching.. Daz is a store. Just like every other store they exist to sell products. They are not a friend.... they don't really give a shit about anything except selling products and making money. I, for one, have no interest in V8 so I will not buy her.
The fact that Victoria 5 Pro stuff was included with Carrera Pro was a selling point for me, and was one of the reasons I decided to pay extra for Carrera Pro rather than just buy the standalone. And an extra 10% off does matter to me, as my budget is limited. Sure $6.61 (plus tax) may not sound like a lot to some people, but for those of us on budgets, it matters...
Hopefully the sales team will see fit to credit those of us that acquired V5 Pro via Carrera Pro for the introductory V8 sale. I've been checking my inbox regularly, and patiently...
My discount for owning the previous Vicky bundles applied seamlessly in the shopping cart just as my banner add ( which finally did arrive) stated it would. I got the pro bundle and the morph packs for right around $60 ( by use of PC+ coupon) and then took advantage of that savings to pick up a few other items which are also discounted once you stick them in the cart.
This was a very good discount on this pro bundle. Also the fact that we got the clones to use the outfits and hair from G1, G2, and G3 is a very happily recieved bonus. We had to purchase those things before.
Many Thanks to Daz3d for releasing a solid offering that will allow us all to continue to use assets that we have purchased previously. I feel as if they did indeed make an effort to do a good thing for their customers both with the discounts and the inclusion of the clones for previous generations.
Since I imagine they will do the same for the G8 Male, I look forward to that and intend to make that an instant purchase as well.

Actually if you have already purchased the aforementioned pro bundles, you get an additional discount. You should be seeing an "orange banner ad" either now, or soon
Nope, you get an extra big discount if you previously bought all pro Vicky bundles. (The more you already have, the bigger the discount.)
I previously bought V6 and V7 pro, but not V5 and got 20% off V8 pro and related.
Sounds about right. At least if I am doing the math correctly. I had purchased all three of the eligible Vicky bundles and my discount was around 30%
Well, for some reason it did not count my pro bundle via the Carrara upgrade purchase, even though it shows every single item in that bundle as owned. It does credit me for the other 2 previously purchased bundles and puts my price on the pro bundle at $42.32. Does this sound like I'm getting credit for all 3 pro bundles?
I did see the orange banner telling my I got a 20% discount. My gripe is that the Cararra upgrade which included the V5 pro bundle didn't seem to garner credit in this case for a larger discount.
Having all items from a pro pack is not the same as having the pro pack itself. You could try support, though. :)

Did you mean $52 rather than $42? I'm seeing a price of $46.29 with the extra 30% discount for all three previous Victoria Pro bundles
I got the orange banner and it was $85.02 when I did put it into my cart, but when I checked on my phone it was $66.13 what the hell?!
The $66.13 price is probably correct for you. At that price you are seeing the 30% new release discount and the 30% discount for owning the 3 Pro bundles. The $46.29 price I got also includes the 30% discount on DAZ Origianls for PC+ members,.
I'd need to see a render to believe that actually happened. ;)
