Particles from Blender to Daz

Long story short I couldn't find an already built prop that I liked anywhere so I decided to create my own in Blender. I have applied some nice texture along with using Blender's hair particle emitter. When I import the obj into Daz my particles go away as well as my texture.
I know this is probably newb stuff, but this newb can't seem to find any info on the web. I would love for my particles and texture to transfer over instead of just the ugly gray model.
Halp!!

Haven't done it in a while, but there's a convert to mesh button that you need to use on the hair. It won't look exactly the same though.
As darren said, have a look under your modifiers tab, there should be in your particle modifier a convert button. Happy Blending

Ah! That part was easy. However, when I bring the obj into daz my texture nor the particles I created around it show up... Must be something i'm not checking. Suggestions?
As I remember, there's a modifier that you need to use (I think it was the screw modifier) to create the volume otherwise you are just exporting vertices with no faces. It may be possible to do it with the extrude function but I haven't tried that. When I tried the screw modifier method in the past it created fairly large files plus a bald strip across the front third of the head on g3f, probably something I did wrong. Will try to find the link to the video tutorial I followed, and post an image I rendered if I still have one.
Thanks, Darren! I actually ended up using the screw modifier and then based on the input of this post also converted my particles. I still have the same issue when importing the obj into daz. I just gett the stripped down version with no texture and no particles.
You can also look at the other thread about Blender - just scroll down to my posts there - almost on the end of that page.
