Do the animation conversion V4.2 to Genesis and Genesis 2 Female work on males?

I want to get the various animation converter scripts from DraagonStorm. Does anyone know if they work on M4 to Genesis to G2M to G3M?

OK so the answer is no. Once you have G2M and G3M loaded in to the scene, the script still requires that G2F and G3F be there. Is there a script that converts the males (M4, G2M and G3M)? I think I may post this in the technical thread.

Not familiar with DragonStorms animation converter however FWIW animation is transferabble adjustable via and BHV import exporrt...I use tools like Ultimate Unwrap 3D and V hacker to affect (attenuate/increase) ranges of keys to help fit an animation to specific figure.  Fragmosoft is also a good tool for this,

Thanks for responding. What are is FWIW animation? After tranfering to BVH, is there much adjusting for the G3 figures? I plan on importing into Iclone where I can do a lot of asjusting on the time line using the Iclone tools. I had great results transfering the female BVH animations because of the conversion tools at Daz but I haven't tried for the males because most of my animations for males are for M4 and I haven't made the attempt because of the lack of conversion from M4 to G2

Oh, I FWIW I used initials "For What Its Worth" to describe the technique I use to transfer and adjust animation between BIPED figures.  Its more tedious than running a script and only rigged bone joints are captured by BVH.  It will not transfer morphs.

Duh, ok forgive me not too familiar with some of the slang, showing my age.

If you have iClone 3DXchange try exporting the M4 or V4 character with the animation as FBX or BVH from DAZ Studio. Import into 3DXchange. You'll have to mess with that T-pose in the "character" section "convert to non-standard". Then save to iClone. I tested applying the imported animation on two iClone characters.

This is exactly what I wanted to know. But I never imported V4 into Iclone because of the t pose thing. I just convert the V4 animation to Genesis and import the FBX with animation or the BVH. With M4 in 3Dxchange do you just adjust the t pose or do you have to go through all that bone fixing?

I adjusted the t-pose in the arms and hands to straighten them out a bit.

Thanks Winmath. One more question, when you open M4 in 3Dxchange which T-pose do you apply?

I've also imported some old animations made for V3 and M3 by playing with the t-pose after importing. Also try https://sites.google.com/a/cgspeed.com/cgspeed/motion-capture/daz-friendly-release for the Daz-friendly BVH release of CMU's motion capture database.
