Unable to access my Reality/Daz.....what a drag that is!!

according to the Reality forums there's been some problems in the last 24 hours or so.
starting as of about 2:am this morning I've been unable to use Reality/Daz....Reality asks for me to re register however after supplying the proper info the registration will not go through.....to make matters even more frustrating I'm unable to register with Reality's "new" official forum to ask what to do.
anyone else in the same situation?

ha!!.... it appears as if they have sorted out the problems and I'm able now to access Reality.....if I only had a little more patience I wouldn't of posted the above....but after many attempts of opening Reality so I could finish what I started early this morning I had to vent.
Nothing more frustrating than trying to get to a project and not being able to access it! Glad its sorted
I've been trying for over a month now to activate my copy of Reality. No go. Several attempts to contact Pret-A-3D directly have met with failure (they mention posting on their forum, but you need an active forum account to do that, I've registered but no activation email arrived in my inbox, forum account shows as inactive, no response from forum admin either). Daz customer service has been trying to help me resolve this (shouldn't be their problem, but they've been nice enough to contact Reality on my behalf) but it's been rather frustrating. The fact that Pret-A-3D does not have a direct means to contact them (email link or email submission form, or the occasional customer service phone #) through their website is troubling.
I've registered dozens of products over the years, and a number of third party products through Daz (Bryce, Hexagon, Carrara, Clothing Converter, etc)., and never have seen a situation like this. I've quadruple checked my firewall settings to make sure that Reality has been granted an exception (it has).
Reality and Luxrender both look like awesome products. I'd love to be able to use them...
At the moment I'm out roughly $25 (Reality was on sale when I bought it) and some hard drive space. Hopefully Pret-A-3D steps up so I can get this resolved. I've held off on posting about this until now in the hopes that it could be resolved privately. I'll keep everyone posted.
If anyone currently has access to the Preta forums, feel free to pass this thread along to them (post a link).
Please note Daz is the Company as in Daz 3D. Daz Studio, (D|S) is their signature program which, along with Bryce Carrara and Hexagon, makes up the stable of Daz owned programs, they are not 3rd party programs.

Also, I assume when you tried to register your reality that you also tried the manual option? Because I have never been able to get the auto register method to work but the manual version works every time. Just make sure you have youor order info that you should have received via email when you made your purchase as you will need the order no, serial and for the manual method also the activation key.
Yes. I've probably tried about 8-12 times now to register this product at various points over the last 35 days or so, doing the manual method as soon as the error message window (with no error message listed) showed up when hitting submit using the automatic method. I've both cut-and-pasted the order # and serial # and typed them in manually (in rare cases some hidden character can piggyback within the text selection you use for cut and paste). The name and email addy has been typed in exactly as it appears on my Daz invoices.
What bothers me the most is that my forum registration for Preta has pretty much been ignored. It's in the admin approval cue (shows as inactive if I try to log in; I've ran/set up a few PhpBBs over the years so I know how this works), they just haven't activated the account/I've never received an activation email.
Daz has made them aware of the situation (I've been trying to get this resolved for over a month before posting this), by forwarding them my details, even though that's normally 'beyohd the scope of Daz product support', but I've yet to receive anything from Preta directly.

I've used that link several times. Didn't work for me (no response). No idea why, but pciccone and I are chatting privately here, so for now I have a point of contact. Will let everyone know how it works out.
