ISO: Glass shaders for DS

Does anyone know of any really good glass shaders for DS? I don't think I've come across a paid set that is specifically for glass, but I may be blind :D
Specifically wanting them for eyeglasses, but for windows and glassware too would be good.

They both contain a glass shader, the first set probably is more what you are looking for... They are probably a bit old by now, and may not be as sophisticated as current shaders, or iRay shaders.

Those two use the default Studio surface shader.
This set, which is a very nice set for automotive renders, has a very nice glass preset based on the Onmifreaker Human Surface shader (little brother to UberSurface).

Then Tofusan has this one, it is a very nice one for making glass objects. It includes realistic absorption and some other features. It's a custom built ShaderMixer shader (not a preset).

i have - or have tried - the shaders listed above. but what i had once, i think it was a freebie but it might have been inbuilt in daz or bought, is one in particular. i've searched my library/daz library, my installed freebies, my not installed yet freebies, i goggled around and i can't put my finger on it. there is even a possibility that i actually have it in my installed content but just can't find it (it's not in shaders, presets, or anything containing the strings "glass" or "refraction"...
i can't remember the name at all, or if it was just a glass shader or part of a product. and it's not new, has been around for a while. it's for 3DL.
all i can remember were the png icons: a glass sphere in 3-4 variations of refraction index i think, on a checkered background (possibly red-blue-white)
anyone knows what i'm talking about?

i checked: nope. never had it. i know i had this thing in my runtime before my netbook croaked on me. i used it too.
btw, it's a feature i'd like in daz: unlike objects, you can't trace back poses and (mapless) shader once they're in a scene... and it would be awesome if they were listed somewhere, if they left a trace somehow...

thx Charlie - tho' i have both his sets, and it's not the ones i'm looking for, i just verified. "mine" have different icons (and ofc effects). a bit like.. xtra thick glass..
Age of Armor's Metalized Glass Shaders for DAZ Studio have glass sphere icons on a checker icon but the refractive index is set by varying settings rather than by individual icon

no, i haven't bought that one, and i never saw the tutorial before - but thx for the tuto link, always useful ^^

BUT.. i realized i had Georgehaze's Ultimate Shader Pack (contains glass too) from sharecg installed before, which i didn't want to reinstall. still, i redownloaded the pack to see the icons - and somehow they do have a few spheres of different quality glass on a tricolor background (not checkered tho'). so... either there really is something else out there we can't figure, or my memory - not the best - is playing tricks with me and mixing up different icons.

Mec4D's PBS Shaders Vol. 2 https://www.daz3d.com/mec4d-pbs-shaders-vol-2-for-iray is probably the single best collection of shaders I've yet seen (and I own nearly a hundred sets), and has an ecellent selection of glass shaders ranging from plexiglass in clean, and multiple dirty and scratched patterns all the way up to pyrex. @Cybersox13 Mec4D's shaders are pretty much my go to for Iray but it really depends on which render engine the OP is using
