I have an order of Hot Cocoa waiting to be shipped. ...

Don't expect it to still be hot when it arrives. surprise

It is actually a good amount of kcups not an actual cup of hot cocoa.

Thousands of cups may be overkill.

true, but I did not order a thousand kcups.  It is only 72 kcups.  I cancelled the order with the hot cocoa with corn syrup.  I ordered another kind without corn syrup.   I was about four dollars and change short but my brother just sent a gift card which helped with that amount.  I am getting my hot cocoa tomorrow!

...disposed of K-Cups are very bad for the environment.  They end up in landfills and don't biodegrade.

True.  And we are also denuding the Indonesian forests to make toilet paper.  Hmmm..., decisions, decisions. frown

...well, there's always the daily woirthless newsrag, or all that junk mail, though those may clog the pipes.

The Chinese a developed toilet paper (like just about anything else that we find useful today).

...bugger they won't even let you have your birthday treat?  Are they running a gulag there?

...well the cold seems to be slowly clearing up.  Almost can talk again without sounding like I'm doing a Tom Waits impersonation.

Warmest day of the year here so far, a "blistering" 66°.  Friday's forecast promises a high of 71° but not holding my breath.

bit of a nip in the air.  48F out.  fell down last night, my rib is hurty. can't bear to put an ice pack on it.

April almost over, year is flying.  Memorial Day. then July 4th, is on a Toosday i think.

really want to order the non-brown brown betty. and tea cozy. and a lil bistro table for my teeny-tiny patio.

tee hee, my 90 day vendor ranking is 298.  think that means 298 vendors are doing better?

Rain, rain, go away.  Come again some other day. indecision

Complaint:  I took my car back to the mechanic to replace the windshield wiper motor (for the 2nd time).  Good news, he apparently isn't going to charge me for the motor or labor.  Bad news, it isn't high on his priority list.  frown  So I'm without a car for a few days.  I may have to actually walk somewhere. surprise

...yeah, I  could do with a littl nip or two of the distilled spirits myself right now to help my throat out.

Drizzly and sort of mild today, same tomorrow though appears Thor may be throwing his hammer around on his day.

Friday, definitely a day to get out and do thing as finally, our first 70°+ day of the year, then by Caturday back to more wet and bleah into midweek next week.

Crossed Costa Rica off my retirement list, way too humid and steamy.  Also removed LaPaz as the state of Sol (where LaPaz and Cabo are located) has the second highest murder rate of Americans in the country (Chihuahua is the worst).  Running out of affordable warm climate options.  Currently looking at Kalamata Greece (yeah, where the best olives come from).

Been singing that tune for a while here and looks like I'll have to continue doing so for a while longer.

...at least they  should finally work the way they are supposed to (I hope). Yeah not having a way to get around when the weather is bleah is no fun.

observation: I was playing a game.  Most of the surfaces and objects are too shiny.  Yes, I know the game takes place in a science fiction environment, but everything except the ground (dirt) and plants seems to reflect a lot of light.  Bright objects except the lights don't look natural.  I can't turn down the specular values.  Bloom is off.  Maybe I can change the quality of the shaders.  Ok, end of complaint.

Aside from soggy air, shrinking fish and wiper woes, today looks to be a good day.  Yea, my car is ready for pickup this afternoon which means I might have an adventure this weekend (i.e. lunch at someplace other than my kitchen)  Also, while my savings account was prised open to pay for car repairs, and the money and dust and moths were flying out, some of that money found its way to the Chautauqua ticket office and I have my ticket and parking receipt for this year's opening symphony June 29th in the completely rebuilt new Amphitheater.  Yea, a musical adventure.   First piece will be Tchaikovsky's 1st Piano Concerto (the introductory first few measures are probably recognizable to most).  The second piece will be Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony (nicnamed "Fate") performed by the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra.   Program notes: http://www.ciweb.org/calendar/eventdetail/3291/chautauqua-symphony-orchestra-opening-night

Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto #1  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ybg2BEy_pu0  ; 2nd movement @ 9:11;  3rd movement @ 28:52   The finale' starting @ 31:00 is typical Tchaikovsky building to a major climax where the audience reaction at the end is unhesitating rousing cheers, applause and "bravo"s, and the conductor and soloist are usually drenched in sweat.  This YouTube presentation is played by Lang Lang, who if you ignore his over-the-top theatricalities, plays wonderfully.

At Chautauqua, the pianist will be Alexander Gavrylyuk (Gav-rill-yuck) who has his own enthusiastic mannerisms but not quite as distracting as Lang Lang.  Gavrylyuk is a perennial favorite at Chautauqua.  Each year drawing full house audiences to the 3500 seat Amphitheater to instantaneous standing ovations, minutes of audience foot stomping, calls for encore, and his subsequent multiple encores.  Pretty good for Chautauqua being out in the middle of bumpkin country.  I'm really looking forward to this performance.

Example of Alexander Gavrylyuk's talent:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6H60BxkhIiE

    Tchaikovsky Symphony #4 ("Fate"):  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Od2IUvWcCvI  2nd movement @ 18:05; 3rd movement (pizzacato) @ 28:00;  4th movement @ 34:05.
