What's going on with the discounts?

I put two items in my cart, and was happy about the discount. So I started adding more items, and by the time I had 40 items, the discounts almost vanished. What's going on?
1st round:

3rd round:
Adding 4 more old items reduced the discounts to 69% and 72% off.
4 more, and the discounts are only 67% and 70% off.
It's like there's a fixed dollar discount somewhere, and not a percentage. What am I missing?

I'm reporting the oddities.
Yep seeing something very similar the more items I add (just from the new releases) the more the discount drops.
That's a great way to end. The more you buy the lesser your discounts.
AND it's the weekend, which is what I said about starting all of this new-deal-madness/the-weekend, Friday afternoon so there's time to sort this while the office is still open.
If no one fixes this till Monday afternoon- then what?
At least that kills any impulse buying.

Something is still not quite right.
I have 4 items from featured artists in my cart. That's more than 2, so they should be 50% off. I'm a bonus buyer, that should be another 10% off. I own Dante7, that should be another 10% off. But all I'm getting is 51% off. It's like the base 50% for having more than one is just counting as 40%.
yeah I just reduced the amount of content I was about to buy too reduced to most wanted rest decided can wait another future time kinda the less you buy the bigger the discount maybe that is what is meant by march madness
Don't give it up just yet. I mean, the current low discount is not what it's supposed to be, as far as I can tell.
hopefully what I ended up paying was the full discount meant to get at least march madness bonus (10% off) , at least 2 new recent releases, actually bought 4 march madness new items i13 dreams, royal palace, vanity room, and the new morphing stockings.Plus another 10% off for having bought Dante7Pro and maybe being a PC+ member? And used my $6 coupon to get i13 secluded living bundle + 50% off for buy 2 or more mm items. Came to $66.90- $24.59 discount brings total of $42.31 (around $58+ my money) so it looks like I got a pretty good discount now I look at it think I got it but I doid have more stuff but it seemed like the discount got lot less more I added
Nobody else seems to comment on this, so am I the only one missing something here?
I have 4 featured artist items in my cart, all giving me 51% off. Shouldn't this be 59.5% off?
2 or more PA items: 50% off
Bonus buyer: 10% off
Have Dante 7: 10% off
1 x 0.5 x 0.9 x 0.9 = 0.405 = 59.5% off
Currently, it only seems to be 1 x 0.6 x 0.9 x 0.9 = 0.486 = 51.4% off
From what I see it looks like we are only getting 40% off the PA items whether you have one or two and not the 50% for two or more.
yeah, i'm having the same issue. doing the math, it looks like two 10% discounts are being applied to the base march madness discounted price, but the third 10% isn't.
optimally, we should have the additional 10% off for buying two items--
an additonal 10% for being a bonus buyer--
an additonal 10% for owning dante 7 or tamara--
all three of the offered discounts are 10%, so no there's no telling which isn't working.
but for instance: one item in my cart is showing at 8.72 when it should be 7.85.

Well I guessed it was the extra 10% increase for 2 or more because the price of a single item stays the same when you put two items in the cart.

Thanks to this thread I noticed several, several discrepancies post-purchase between my total and what was advertised. I tried to catalogue all of it, but I bought 43 items. Nothing wrong with getting all cute and clever with the sales configurations, but someone who knows how to fix stuff should man the station overnight so we don't have to waste so much time.
And there are still some Featured Artist stores that are not tallying properly.

I had the same thing. One item, basic discount. Two items, huge discount. Took out one item and the remaining one was free. And so on. I did a hard refresh - cleared cart, restarted browser. That helped. But I got two items about $10 each at normal discount, cart showed them at around $7, but when I went to check out it showed them at $2.45 each. I shrugged at that point, processed the payment - but my reciept showed the $7 charge for each. Well, I got them on sale anyway.
We all get that problem, am I right guys?
The 10% discount from BB and the 10% discount from todays Madness DO work for me, the 40 -> 50% discount increase for more than one item from featured arist catalogs still DO NOT work for me ...
I got about 70% off for 2 New! items that I bought... i.e. the remaining cost to me was 30% of the full price of those New! items.
I don't know if that was right or not right. It was a good price for pieces that I knew I could use.
Earlier, I also bought a bunch of old items (SKU lower than 16000) with a % discount that got larger as the items in the cart decreased.
At some point, the price is the right price, and I buy it... with Daz Maths being at least 5-dimensional, and not decipherable by normal human brains.
That actually got a REAL bunch of laughs out of me..... Thanks.... :)

That should be 50% + 30% (which replaces the Bonus Buyer 10% I think) - but I am seeing 58% on both items, and adding a Newly Mad doesn't change that discount. What should it be?
This is probably the only place in the world where the math will result in the unification of gravity and quantum mechanics. Who knows... it could be me that does it,
but I still won't have a clue what is going on..... just like the DAZ math today..... oh well, it does stimulate my imagination anyway.
Well, anyway, it's still not working as of 4:05 pm Saturday, Newfoundland time, that's just around the corner from Bag End, Hobbit Town.
1 - 0.5*0.7 = 1 - 0.35 = 0.65 which is 65% off. The 58% is coming from the "buy two or more" discount not applying so you are only getting 1 - 0.6*0.7 = 1 - 0.42 = 0.58. I have the same issue with something I'm trying to purchase but won't until they fix it. Typical weekend sale problems.

well, let's hope for today. The 10% for Dante owners is a Mad Offer; so that could likely disappear tomorrow
This very logical solution has been suggested many, many, many times in the past, but apparently all DAZ employees turn back into housemice and pumpkins as soon as it hits midnight in Utah. :/
