My reading of the discount headers is that you only get the extra 20% discount on the catalogue with 2 newly mad in the cart.
If you screen shot the offer, then raise a ticket with CS; they are great at refunding stuff when there have been glitches. Just be sure to properly screenshot everything.
If you're like me, you want some credit left too. :)
I'm not sure what is going on... but the fact that I get ONE discount on Star 2.0 with a qualifying item in the cart...
And a different discount with a Newly Mad item in the cart...
But the two discounts don't stack, and there is nothing that says that they DON'T stack...
And the fact that before this was "fixed," Star 2.0 was discounting more with 2 Newly Mad items *in* the cart...
Makes me feel like there is something not working right. But I'm not going to buy when I'm not sure how the DAZ math works. If it gets fixed so that the price I saw is what I get when I have a newly mad item *and* another qualifying "new" item in the cart... then I'll pull the trigger. At this point, it looks like I'm going to hang on to my $25 another day, and I'm not going to add Star 2.0 to my collection this time around. :)
Ha ha, I said that, and then the wood spirits got me (though it was the new freebies that sucked me back in!)
Oooh, the secret orange banners are getting smarter (and also sending emails as backup in this case.) Now it's noticing that I didn't buy anything all March and tempting me with secret secret offers!

I sat down and did the math the whole way through. It is spot on. Daz actually rounds down a penny when it would be in their favor to round up.
The price I saw at $14.95 with 2 Newly Mad items in the cart must have been a glitch. It is a shame that there weren't two Newly Mad items that I wanted enough or that were cheap enough to jump on that bargain.
As it is... I managed to find a "second" item inexpensive enough that they've finally slid a piece of paper back to me that I'm going to have to sit and think about - and I'm pretty sure that'll be their final offer today. :D
Weird. I got that price earlier also. Didn't buy it tho, was just looking at the price, as I have the Starter Bundle already.

I've lost my bonus buyer banner as it's been 4 days since I bought anything. Anyone tell me what it says today? See whether it's worth nabbing something small today.

I lost my banner too. So they've just removed any incentive for me to buy anything really. All the stuff they keep offering (as super discounted stuff) is stuff I already own. Hey, big discounts on the things you paid for when they came out, horray! So now as a little extra encouragement to purchase the mediocre items we've had for the past few days we're going to remove that last little discount that might have pushed you over the edge. I'm tempted by Zeddicuss' Gym pose set, but frankly anything else I kind of think is interesting I've just put on my wishlist for a better sale later. I bought some stuff in the beginning that was actually nice but the figures some of these PA's make look like gene-spliced replicants (or sisters/clones). And I don't much like beauty marks either I'm afraid.
I mostly buy new figures for their textures to use for my own figures. Though I admit I miss the days of figures resembling celebrities, those I bought like candy if they were any good. Oh well, I don't expect a pity party. But they might realize that they have long time customers who really aren't in a position to take advantage of these sales the way they're designed, obviously they're for those newer to DS.
Just got back into Daz this month after a few years of a break. Today's Pro Bundle deals is what I've been waiting for. V7 and M7 Pro bundles for less than $25 each after adding three newly mad or still mad items. Place in cart and purchase with my unused store credit I bought when it was like 24% off.
You just need to buy any cheap (e.g. PC+) 2$ item to get the banner back.
If you plan to buy for more than 20$ in the next 3 days it soesn't even matter if you have any use for the item or not.
BTW. March Madness was allways set up in a way that you have to buy approx every 3 days to reap the full discounts just the mechanics differed.

Well, back in the old days they had clothing, textures and hair in the DAZ Original Sales!!! This year we only had textures!
Just my opinion, but I remember too the March Madness and the PA Festival as the BIG Sales of the year to get great discounts on PA products. Besides introduction sales for new PA products there were less PA sales during the year. Most of the time the promotions were on DAZ Originals or Categories.
As far as I remember, the reputation of both big PA sales was ruined with the introduction of the punch sales. Something like, buy 5 items this week to get 5% additional discount next week. This type of sale was running the whole year with different names. I am glad, really, really glad DAZ got rid of those.
The Buy-This-To-Get-Discount-On-Something-Else is now the type of sale DAZ is running the whole year with different names, mainly focused on PA products. So March Madness is just another sale name, but nothing special anymore.
