@Valandar : I like the Metal Golem you made. More Non-Robot Metal Creatures in Fantasy Style would be great.

Love the squiddo, Valendar. Elder Things of all varieties are of great use :)

If you're still trolling for new ideas, why not Mantis-men! Or beetle-men, those would work too. I've had a need for both, and they can do well in fantasy, sci-fi, and 50's horror kinda stuff :)

Let's just say I've started work on a Riding Drake, now. Still too early to even glimpse. :D

The problem with 'Four Arms' was that, while it was perfectly fine for male figures, female figure had to go topless with it. I think there were only one, maybe two bikini/underwear-style tops which didn't intersect through it.

While it takes a bit of work (and still only leaves a small selection of tops available) you can always create a geoshell after applying four arms, using deformers to pull straps above or below the bottom arms as much as you can, then use a smoothing modifier set to collide with the geoshell.

I don't know a thing about deformers or how to apply/use them, sadly, much less smoothing modifiers.

  • will there be many textures with this creature Valander? any slimy looking transparenty multi coloured skins? like slugs

Usually "fit to" auto-applies a smoothing modifier, but if not, then simply select the clothes and go to edit->figure->geometry->apply smoothing modifier Then in the clothings parameters (in the parameter tab) will be a new sub category called smoothing modifier

Set the collision item to the geoshell and you can adjust the collision itterations and smoothing until you get the look you want.

I meant to add....how about a horse....not exactly your average black beauty ;) Morphable size, foal to med to the large Frazetta Death Dealer mount size. Maybe morphable hooves, normal looking, to cloven to claws...head kind of horse but with fangs too...tail and mane that can be hair or tentacles.....eyes that glow innocent or hellion to normal.....hide that is normal to scales on all over or various segments, legs...rump etc. Then to top it off the ability to convert horse body with the G3 model for a centaur.

Hivewire horse has most of your morphs listed. All of the age and size ones anyway. Although you will need to purchase a lot of them separately. No centaur yet, although it has been discussed in the forums. There is a Kirin, a Kelpie, and a Skelehorse as 3rd party add-ons. The Kirin has a sort of 3-claw foot, although more proto-claws than real claws. They aren't rigged. Most horse models have a cloven hoof morph, I think. The Kelpie has pointed teeth, although I don't think I'd exactly call them fangs.

Your last wishes sound like work for a texture artist. If you can get one interested they'd probably do the skin for whatever horse they thought would sell the best.

I must say that a tentacle mane geograft would be really cool. Would be the very devil to rig though.

Used up my internet for the month so take too long to download but restes about midnight tonight and I'm retrying a render again that I lost cause studio crashed very long one might post share here might give Valander some ideas for future ones it's kit bashed from several creatures which Val's new creature has been giving me heaps of new ideas for combining it into new creatures it's giving me so many ideas, btw Valander you could do an Octupus too maybe something sluggy too. This new Kraken also reminds me of some videos saw recently including a cuttlefish grabing it's prey never seen one before but think anything hybrid combined with aqautic life would look cool

Thank you very much  I'm glad you like them.. he a great monster. I'll get tons of use  out of him.  I don't think daz cares about using my renders as promo's  because unforunetly Daz will not let me upload anything at all to the gallery,  so there would be no way for them to have access for my render for a promo.

Everyone is paying attention to the big bad kraken, but no one is giving any love to this hard working little guy I picked up during the sales.  I think I would like to see some good beasties to balance out all the baddies.

Did this sell well enough for possible bioluminescent texture expansions, possibly? :)
