So, 2 new items - Check. 2 FA items - Check. With the 10% storewide discount, should I be seeing a minimum of a %60 discount on all items?

Nope, you're using regular math, not DAZ Math.  50% for 2+ MM items, then an additional 10% off of THAT (not the original prices), results in a 55% total discount.

For the umpteenth time - this is not Daz maths, this is maths. That is the correct value for a fifty percent discount followed by a ten percent discount.

This is not how it works in most sales. I used to work in sales for many years. If we had a sale that said 50% off and an additional 10% off - it would be calculated to 60% off. Most stores I've worked in and shopped in do it that way. I, and others, have every right to call it "Daz maths". If you want to disagree, that's fine, but yelling at people who call it Daz Maths isn't very cool, imo.

Its Daz Math. If Daz wants to simplify it and use the general standard that nearly every other store in existence uses, then maybe people wont call it Daz Math. But until that day comes (fat chance,) it is what is...and its Daz Math. If that is upsetting, your grievance should be with that powers that be that continue to use such confusing sales practices.

I spent a good while in retail. And if we used Daz Math to discount things we would have been bombarded with customer complaints. Now maybe I am an oddball, but I tend to believe making customers angry isn't good for business. I seriously don't understand why Daz wishes to continue with this scheme, in spite of the complaints. Every. Single. Time.

Were the stores in areas with a sales tax? Was the sales tax added as X% of the base price or X% of the discounted price? The stores may have added discounts up the wrong way, or they may have been worded in a way that made the 50% and 10% equals 60% right, but the way Daz combines discounts is the correct way. If they wanted to do it your way they would have to say they were adding 10 percentage points to the discount, not adding an extra 10% discount (or simply, as they do with the two items or more, say they replace one discount with another, larger, one).

I do apologise for the umpteenth, however.

OH!  surprise Just read the email. It said Click Redeem and it will be converted to a DAZ Store credit.   Clicked on Store Credit and surprise, surprise!! There it is... oh happy dance...

LOL- new to that, eh?   Happy shopping!  We've said for a LONG time there needs to be a POPUP message that tells you the amount has been placed in your store credit. As it is, you click, the code disappears, and nada.

Yeah. I think Richard sums up the math question nicely. :) The "additional % off" doesn't mean you'll get 50% + 10% = 60%. It means you'll get $100 * 0.5 * 0.9 = $45 (which is 55% off). It's actually not that confusing if/when you know which percentage comes off when, etc. That's the bit (to me) that gets confusing, but then...that's part of the joy of shopping here--the thrill of the hunt. ;)

Yeh it makes it more interesting. I never really care about discount percentage; I'm only ever interested in the cost of my cart in relation to what is in it.

My car insurance is due, and they sent me a real letter stating how much discount; I ignored it as % of what? So I will continue to aim to pay as little as possible - that is my responsibility to myself; PAs and Daz will be doing what they can to encourage me to pay more - their responsibilities to themselves and those they are responsible for.

I'm running into the problem of "Buying too much stuff before, now I can't find anything to buy". blush Exaggerating a little, of course, but keeping to a monthly DAZ budget is making me prioritize certain things over others.

Speaking of priorities and the sale, does anyone have any suggestions for fantasy outfits for male figures? Something that's not... cheesecakey?

What kind of fantasy? Dragon riders? Space opera? Elves and goblins? Zombie apocalypse? South Pacific? Be specific. ;-)

Sorry if already asked, but does Bonus Buyer time out?  I was a Bonus Buyer, but not any longer...?

I believe it lasts three days. But buy anything other than a freebie and it will return.

Yeah. I think you get two additional days after you make the purchase.

It times out,  but next time you make a purchase it comes back.   I bought some back cat stuff today, from the featured artists and my BB Banner came back automagically

You're saying the 10% gets taken off of what's left after the other discount is applied, correct?

But don't neglect the front cat. It can be stressful out there, what with the traffic and the new gas mains being put in. Get something nice, plus an extra tickle behind the ear. Maybe warm the milk up a bit, first.

I got my partner a gift card. We ran into the same issue with the code being in valid. Copy n pasted it. We even tried clicking on the link. It says he has $10 in his store credit. I have always used a cc and it worked the first time I ever did it. The same thing bought him some credit for his birthday. This time it does not seem to be working. Yea, I am only getting the 19% discount on the gift card. *shrugs*

I recently decided I waited long enough and bought some G3M stuff. Just a couple days later there's now a 40% sale on all of the stuff I bought. crying

You can request a refund of the price difference. Make a screen shot showing the lower prices in your cart and submit it to customer service.

Yes, definitely do that. You will receive no hassle from customer service at all.

Remember, Daz products have a 30 day guarantee of your satisfaction. You could return all those items and purchase them again at the lower price. Think of it this way - by just documenting the price difference and requesting the refund of that price difference, you are actually saving customer service the hassle of handling the return of all those products.

Still shopping! Daz is great about adjusting prices if it goes for lower later (within 30 days). Just screen shot your purchase before you buy it and at checkout. Why wait for the lowest sale when you are already guaranteed it will be the lowest sale??? What if the lowest price is the price it is at today? It's win win.

I bought M7 yesterday, so I'm going to have to do the screen shot thing. I ALMOST bought the horse, so glad I didn't! I have been waiting forever for it to go on sale!

Offer valid for intended recipient only. * Items must be in cart simultaneously for discount to apply. ** No additional purchase necessary

Above is the full text of the Bonus Buyer banner at the top of the page, (at least for me.) I'm hoping someone from DAZ will swing by and clarify the statement, "Buy 2 or more and get an additional 10% OFF PLUS an EXTRA 30% OFF** New Releases" I read it to say, buy 2 or more vehicles and stack another 10% discount on the vehicles. AND get an additional stacking 30% discount on New Releases.

Is that correct? If so, the additional 30% is not being applied to the new release in my cart...

That's what is happening (I think) with the vehicles. Some are RNDA so who knows?  Agree, that 30% isn't happening on the New Releases. That isn't as good as what we were getting though, right? Wasn't it one new release for 40% off, two for 50%? So who would buy them now at 30% off? (Or am I losing my mind. It's 4am and I'm tired.)

This doesn't make sense. The Fantasy Creature Creator for males is 58% off but the women are only 30% off.
