These renders were done in Daz studio?
Your first render is charming, remember the magic of Disney films ....

Yes they are Daz studio. I had to add the eyebrows and 2 small hair bits in photoshop.

Samc: Great pictures, I especially like the first render, which looks like Disney-made. It is amazing that this can be done in DAZ studio. You are very skilled.

I love pictures with swirly curly stuff, lots of vegetation and a mixture of sci-fi and fantasy. This is just wonderful!

So many wonderful renders. One of my personal favourites is Aldemps' one with poor Sam getting attacked by a tentacle monster coming out of the arcade machine while Sadie just watches. Perhaps wisely though.

I'll post some toons as soon as I'm back home.

Here's one I recently put together. If I'm honest, the thing which took the time was the skateboard. It was a freebie from ShareCG but the material groupings were all over the place so I took some time to remedy that and make it easier to recolour. Added some shiny reflection maps to give it a brand-new look and a grinning Toon Boy Sam so he can practice his leaps.

...nice, Seems my poor Sammy could take a few pointers from him.

(done for a freebie challenge a while back).

So many excellent renders! I'm sure I'm not the only one who would greatly appreciate tips on how to achieve such wonderful results. I have the Visual Style shaders and PWToon but, try as I might, I can't get close to the quality I've seen in this thread.

agreed. I have PWtoon, and no idea how to use it or any other shaders for that matter. I especially want to be able to do the B&W one in pwtoon.
