Can't wait to try this out.  I saw Diva's post on her thread earlier I think it was and am sincerely impressed with this.  I immediately thought Dragons myself lol.  Or Giants....  Going to get a lot of use out of this one.

Awesome! I can totally see the dragons with this set too! It's not often we get sets that can really show off those larger figures and accommodate their sheer size. The scope of this environment can really translate to creating some truly epic art, imo. If I had one of the newer dragons I'd be doing a dragon piece too. However I only have the free dragon and the poor guy is definitely showing his age. (Although he does look pretty cool in @nattaruk's piece - covered in flames and the bright light of the fire). :)

Take his textures into gimp or photoshop and wrap some scaly skin on him.  Might take awhile to get what you want but I have seen you people skin.  No reason you can't do that with a dragon....

Here's a work in progress screen capture which hopefully will give a better idea of the huge scale. Please note I've only loaded in the bits I needed. There are 152 skeletons in the comfortably spread out audience, (and I've now learnt a bit about instances!).

The band struggle to perform "Dragon Dance" at a lot of venues because of fire hazard and health and safety issues but fortunately the Absolution Necropolis has a live and let live attitude about such things.....

    Very cool!

  • Thank you Diva, for starting this thread. I had no idea Absolution was such a large set. I hate to complain, but the promos showed me nothing of what's included and I certainly didn't understand the 'whats included' list. I thought a person was purchasing a round column with ivy, a gate, staircases leading nowhere. The description led me to believe the other building sections were from older sets. This was why I had not purchased it in the past. Wish I had seen this thread sooner, so thanks again. That second image should be a promo pic. It looks awesome and shows so much of Jack's incredible work.

You're welcome. :) I'm glad you fond it helpful. I think a lot of people are surprised at Absolution's size.

I'm glad you got it! It's one of my favorite sets - I hope you like it too. :)
