  • so many options you could do a mech war with just using this one model to create so many different mechs

Every time I look at this, I can't help but be reminded of one of these babies...  laugh

A pilot could also climb in headfirst and assume a hanglider type position.

Using geometry editor you could probably "cut" the top hatch off, and using a 2nd model, delete everything but the hatch. Then using greebles and items like the modular command chair or something similar, produce an interior cockpit.

This is awesome.  It's not even released and people are talking about kitbashing it.  laugh

It's like reading one of the forums of a newly released RC Airplanes... it's not even in the stores and everyone is talking about how to mod it.  hehe  So funny!  smiley

Oh, and I mean this in the most PC, non-bias'd, non-partisan, unassuming, non-judgmental and innocent way.  I'm just amused, that's all.  yes

Yeah!  I agree . . . this baby is begging to be kitbashed!  I can't wait to get it!

    Equip is awesome!

  • Can this be controlled remotely so that the pilot is not put in danger? Perhaps with the RC-5000 Remote Control that changes the channels on my television?

Sorry, there's really no room for a cockpit. I could pull the engine out and stick one in but it'll just be a big door stop after that. wink

Nice. I didn't notice the loader version. Was too busy looking at those cannons.

That is a direct link to the zip file instead of a link to the freebie info page.  Not a big deal, hope it is not too big of a file as it is on my tablet for right now.

  • been a few days.

    been a few days.

any up date/news/release date on this?

Not really allowed to say an exact date, but by the end of the week. Hopefully wink

  • god I hope not, anything I buy on a friday at Daz has a 50/50 chance of being f***ed and wont get looked at until the following week.

also just want to say if Romulus-01 had been poser format like Remus-02

it would have been an instant sale, real shame

Look at that level of detail.  Dirt and wear and tiny beautiful greebles, this is a gorgeous machine!

    Poser pros: (major)

A very good model. works well in poser and looks great. (looking forward to using this)

    poser cons:(minor)

A couple of the minor props are not parented, so load inside the main model.

Really could have done with the base model having inverse kinematics, would have made poseing alot easier.

also the menu images for the textures on on the "tan parts" & "tan base" are crossed over, so if you look at the image only to load the texture it loads the wrong one.

All that aside, A very good model and well worth the money

I experienced the minor problem with the weapons pods loading inside of the torso.  This is using the Studio version.  I really like this mech.

My apoligies, the only weapons that are parented are the left and right arm ones. The rest are set up to kit-bash the main mech. Once you find a good place for your non-arm weapon(s), you can save it/them as a parented prop for your future use. I also included a preset example to start with. Hope this helps.
