I hadn't done a creature since Mr. Turtle for Genesis several years ago. It was a personal high water mark and I didn't want to do another until I thought I had something that felt as special.
This is that new character!
Not really. This was the first step in that new character. Adjusting the general proportions of G3M then opening his mouth so that I could work inside.
I figured I'd post a few wip shots as I wait for the characters release. See if anyone could guess where it was going before it got obvious.

I can see some Goldy Locks and the 3 Bears renders. Some Jungle Book fan art. The Golden Compass fan art. Fun warrior bear renders! Smoky the Bear? Kung Fu Panda! Oh I can totally see maybe even an expansion pack of textures for different types of bears - black bears, brown bears, panda bears, polar bears! Ohhhh The adorable Coca-Cola Bears! :D I see some real potential here! :)

The set includes two new shapes for the Genesis 3 Male, Mr. Bear and the additive Cub shape. Iray and 3Delight are supported. LAMH presets also included.

Very good. We have plenty of black bears in the hereabouts nowadays. I'm guessing the sasquatches are actually grizzly bears.

Totally adorable and cool! I have to grab this, my six year old likes to "help" me with renders, and often takes over. A budding 3D artist! Thinking it might be fun to do a kid's storybook with him, with 3D pictures. The bears would be perfect for that.
Just added Mr Bear and Ribbit to my cart. I have all your other great characters. How easy is it to make him a Mrs. Bear? Has anyone tried with any luck. It would be great to be able to do a whole family.
Well if you take advantage of human stereotypes just make her 25% smaller and blonder or maybe 25% smaller and darker might work.
That's kind of what I'm thinking too. I have the cross figure resource so it shouldn't be a problem. Just wondering if anyone had tried it.

Out of interest, is this an all-or-nothing character, or can we partially morph them in?
Love the one in the armour! Very nicely done!
You can use it at values less than 100%, but you can't morph in the arms and not the legs if that's what you're thinking.
So I tried a quick render with making a Mrs. Bear. This is 3delight and I dialed in the cross figure, set the scale at 90 and lightened the color. She looks pretty good in the free dress from Fisty and darc.
Snagged it before bed last night.
Argh. Talk about lousy timing. I just did a 3 bears/Goldilocks render that this would have been perfect for, and had to fight the old Fairy Tale bears every inch of the way. I'm definitely going to have to get this for the inevitible sequel...
I love these characters, but I can't find the LAMH presets. When I try to add fur to them, I don't see the presets in the preset folder that LAMH opens. Am I doing something wrong?
