Question About Creating Hair in Poser

I have been learning how to create hair for my 3D figure, but I came across something that might be interesting for me to learn.

I did learn that the hair I downloaded for the figure I am using appears to be in polygons.  Is it possible for me to create polygon hair similar to the format in the image below in Poser 11?

    Poser doesn't model. You have to create the model in another program and rig it in poser.
