Reset the teeth of my genesis 3 female?

Hi forum,

today I saved my first full-head and full-body morph following this tutorial: http://www.digi-dotz.com/index.php/free-poses/tutorials/daz-studio-tutorials/47-morph-in-daz-studio (includes adjustment of the rig)

My problem is: the teeth of my character are getting morphed in a weird way when applying both morphs. That doesn't happen, if I save a morph following this tutorial: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/userguide/creating_content/packaging/tutorials/saving_morphs/start

The difference is, the morph-dials created by using the second tutorial are affecting already existing dials, the others don't.

Thanks for taking the time!

P.S.: Using the dials which affect others is fine for me, but I'm worried I have to adjust the rigging of my genesis-3-female, e.g. if I make the character taller using a morph-set like "Shape Shift 3".

Did you export the base figure at any point to create a custom sculpt?

If you are following this for Genesis 3, the you probably exported with both the navel and mouth realism morphs active.  They load, by default at 100%.  When exported and reimported, this will 'double' them up...giving you the nasty teeth.  Basically, you need to go back to your export and reimport it using 'Reverse Deformations'...or go back to the beginning and when you zero every thing out, make sure that both those are off, too.

  • Thanks, that does sound promissing. I will try again keeping your hind in mind.
