    I made a skin for Monique 7 but I got to the end and didn't like it. It's not as nice as Monique's gorgeous skin, a bit gritty, blotchy, uneven, and with icky spec maps, so I scrapped it.  This is the best render I could get of it...

    So sometimes we do create characters for the official characters, but scrap them. :p 

    If there was a magical future ball that told us which official characters would do well, and which would be forgotten (Karen 7, who? :p) I'd be happier to support official characters. 

    That being said, I'm always surprised by my Genesis 2 sales....

    Anywho, here's a render! Monique 7 Original on left. My scrapped skin on the right. (With an Auto Tone in PS)

    I really like your skin it looks very realistic. Uneven skin isn't an issue because that's what you find in real life. It would be nice to have another option when rendering.

You were always my favourite - my go-to girl, with your gorgeous skin and your curves. But....I'm so sorry to say that Monique now holds the #1 position in my heart. Look, if it makes you feel any better, it's not you, it's me! I'm a jezebel, a no good damn floozy, whose heart is fickle and prone to wander. *sob* I'm sorry Olympia, I really am....but we can still stay friends, right?

    Oh any you could look up Young woman in white (probably by) Jaques-Louis David Id post it but its breaks the tos a bit.

     

    There also may have been some chest bearing renaissance fashions (and yes I man for the ladies) For men theres always the good old medieval standby of miniskirt and crochless tights, or a bit later various eyecatching croch accessories

    It's KHC Box Braids by samsil for Genesis 2 Female at Rendo. Great render Joe! :D Darn you...now I think I gotta have that hair. LOL

    Any character skin you produce is always drooled over m'dear I don't see anything wrong with your Monique. I just picked her up and I'm impressed with her, she is very different, she looks like she means business! I just wish DAZ would break the mold on the G3M characters and create more diveristy so far the whole male line looks like they have the same mom & pop, with the exception of Ivan--he could be 'dad'...even Lucian looks like he's the half brother to Michael. It will be interesting to see what the male counterpart to Monique will look like.

    Both in my wishlist :P I really like the looks of it (especially the long braids there) and it looks great on Monique - either version ;).

    Hate to say, "told you so!" I see patterns in releasing characters. The only thing that bothers me was the 3 months delay, why not releasing during the march madness sale?

    I'm always in favor of constant change and I'm happy with this new release cause they heard people's concerns about backward compatibility.

    I'm always in favor of constant change and I'm happy with this new release cause they heard people's concerns about backward compatibility.

    There wasn't a delay. V6 and V7 where both released in June (two years apart) :)
