I suspect she won't be re-releasing it, but stranger things have happened. Still, I don't want to give you false hope...
That's from her birthday thread she started in June 2015.
My bad...I really missed out on that one :( But it is the time of year for miracles!
I believe in miracles.

....was the ambient HDRI one of offerings on that thread as well?
I believe it may have been...
I don't recall MEC4D's ambient HDRI, but if you just need something for ambient lighting, that's trivial. PNGs and even JPGs work fine for that. You only really need the higher bit depth when you want good directional lighting from the environment map.
Attached are three that I have used at different times. Free for everone's use for anything in the event that they are remotely useful.
I'm pretty sure the HDRIs were in other threads. I know she had a couple she gave away in one of the Iray beta threads when 4.8 was still in beta. And I think she may have given one or two away in one of her shader threads. I'm not sure of anything other than the fact I missed the HDRI giveaways each time.
she had a few things missed a lot myself still wondering about her monkey she was working on one showed pics of that she was doing long before the last two shaders she was working on actually I haven't even seen her around in ages last I saw of her was during when the gtx 1080 cards were coming out and the other next gen and we were all guessing on pros cons waiting for them to be iray ready
Last time I heard from Cath, she was hard at work on her next product with hopes to have it out by the end of the year. She didn't say what it was, but I'm hoping for Vol 4 of her excellent shaders.
...I have it, I was just asking before suggesting it as a studio ambient light solution for Iray as I use for proof rnders of characters since it provides a nice neutral light. Don't want people to waste time searching around for it if it is no longer available.
I just looked through and the HDRIs were back in May of last year.
