Nice...displacement can add a lot to a render.

Probably...I haven't downloaded it yet as I'm still reinstalling stuff onto my new hard drive.

I dunno if it's M5 or just a generic male shape, but someone posted an image of a male wearing Santa Baby in the Santa Baby thread: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/12761/ Can't say I find it very appealing, but it does demonstrate the power of Genesis being able to wear pretty much anything on any shape.

Yep, displacement can do some great things. Here is one i did last week using it around the hat. Hat is free from evilinnocence and rendered in Lux with no postwork

No, five minutes sounds about right, LOL. The key is high res mesh and a really busy seamless noise map, then again, the Reality interface allows for more than a few levels of subdivision.

    I saw anikad's render, and - sigh - I seriously need a Santa outfit for Genesis males!!! <------(three apostrophes means I'm serious)</p>

Reality Render... AHA! Okay... :P I can't afford that kind of render time, unfortunately.

You know now why it rubs off when I spend so much time in the "Just Because I Can. STUPID THREAD"'s... Those apostrophies just mugged the exclamation-marks and robbed them off their lines...

Oh dear. I think I have been at this too long. Now have an urge to render that mugging
