Anyone Working On A Caped Dracula Costume?

We've recently had a complimenting vampiric morph set for G3M and, now, finally a hair product which allows both genders to have a widow's peak, so... It seems like now all we need is a cloaked costume in the style of Dracula and/or Count Orlok. Is anybody creating one? Seems strange that the last attempt seems to be from the M4 era!
Also, in regards to the Undead Creature Creator sets, a word of warning: If you apply the talon morphs for G3M, the nail for the thumb noticeably unnaturally intersects through the flesh on either side (the other fingers seem fine). It's less so for the G3F edition, but also exists there. Am surprised that wasn't noticed during the testing of it, since this happens with just the base figures.

Please report this as a bug, if you haven't.
This is the best Dracula cape I've seen, and you're right, it's for M4. This is actually a freebie Uzilite did for the Marquis set and is available in the freebie area at Rendo. I really wish Uzilite would update this set for G3M. It still looks amazing but autofit doesn't always work well on the shirt collar.
Uzilite's stuff is awesome! I still use some of his M3 stuff (Beowulf, Sade, etc.) on newer figures and it looks fantastic. Thanks for pointing out the fact that a cape came with the Marquis - I hadn't noticed. Into the cart it goes!

Actually, algovincian, the cape in that picture is a freebie, available right here: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuff/uzilite-the-marquis-cape-m4/62513

Oh, bet that would look real good with VWD on any figure ;).

How do you get it to fit? I haven't purchased any M3 outfits because I was worried about that. I've seen a few outfits that looked quite good, but didn't know if they would work. I use Wear Them All a lot on the M4 stuff, and that works great most of the time. Unfortunately the wide collar option on that gorgeous Marquis shirt tends to warp strangely with autofit. I had to photoshop it out in this picture of Hugh (my illusionist superhero in the Black Kat series.) I ended up using a different cape because I wanted to emphasize the collar of the shirt. But wow, did it give me trouble! I do love the free Marquis cape though.
One way is to go through a multi-step process, especially if you happen to have a Crossdresser M4 license, then going from M4 to Genesis...I've gone that route for several things.
Another is using 'unsupported' for the figure type...on some things that's fine.
A third is a combination of the other two...and maybe throwing in one of the add ons, like Sickleyield's or Valzheimer's products. And adding in some Zev's Fit Control.
And if you really want...make fit/adjust morphs in a modeller. (usually works better for male items, as there are some big differences in the female meshes).
You could also use the generation 3 clones for Genesis then go from Genesis to G2 or G3: http://www.daz3d.com/gen-3-iconic-shapes-for-genesis
For the cape I'd probably start by simply parenting it to the figure's neck or chest and adjusting the cape's pose.
Which actually works well...I can't find the G2M render I used it in. And that's all I did with it. It can also be 'clothified' in VWD or exported to Blender.
Thanks, that's good to know. I do hope someone does come out with a new Dracula outfit with cape. With all the horror stuff out lately, you'd think that would be in the works as well.
Thanks for the link, MW - much appreciated!
What I tend to do is fit the clothing on whatever figure it was designed for. I also load the target figure/shape I want it to end up on. Then, I make the original figure the clothing was designed for invis. Now, I use shaping, morphs, deformers, etc., on the original figure (invis, but wearing the clothing) to make the clothing fit the target figure the way I want. Then, I make the target figure invis and export the adjusted clothing item as an .obj. Finally, I load and fit a fresh version of the clothing onto the target figure and apply the .obj I created as a morph.
Hope that made sense (I know it's a bit convoluted), but I find it helps retain more of the original shaping/style (which is awesome on Uzilite's stuff) that the artists baked into the clothing when autofitting. Here's an example of Uzilite's Beowolf (http://www.daz3d.com/beowulf) on RawArt's Nosferatu for Genesis 3 Male (http://www.daz3d.com/nosferatu-for-genesis-3-male):
BTW, love your illusionist, Llynara!

Thanks, Greg! I'm rather fond of my illusionist. He's a lot of fun.
Your people look pretty good too! Love the illustrated look you have there. Is that Line Render 9000 or Photoshop actions?
The clothing looks good too. That's quite a process you go through, but it might be worth it to be able to use some of the older clothing sets. Some are very well made and unique. Thanks for the tips, I will try that on the shirt and see if I can get that collar to behave. I hate having to Photoshop it over and over again.
Thanks, Llynara. It's my own home-brew. If you're interested, you can check out these 2 threads over in the Art Studio for more info:

If you think the adjustment/fit morph process I go through is convoluted, you ain't seen nothin yet! lol

Oh wow, that's incredible! No clue how you're doing it, but LOVE the results! Would love to do this some day for my superhero series. I'll have to comb through those threads deeper- tons of info there. Thanks!
