Meanings of "Studio CF" and "Poser CF"?

These are files to download with a particular item, but what are they used for and what is the importance of these files?

What does CF mean also?

    CF = Companion File

    Poser CF are Poser files for Studio content.

    Studio CF are the Studio specific (usually material presets) for Poser format content.

    They are Poser format files that can be seen byPoser's library system.  I believe they are scripts and their purpose is to activate the DSON Importer so Poser can use the DS format models.

    Only the ones lableled Poser CF.  The ones labeled Studio CF are 3DL adjusted textures for products that were originally made for Poser's firefly.

    Load Poser CFs only if you plan on using Poser.  Otherwise you're just eating memory.

    For Studio CFs, check to make sure there's not a file simply labeled DS.  If there is, the SCF file will be redundant, as ths CFs were made for earlier versions of Studio.
