Here's Willie, one of my favorite characters... (NOT AN ENTRY) I did him a couple of years ago.

    Here's one more. Used:

    M5
    Thin
Little bit of Manly Men Heads 1 & 5
    Pinch of Hill Troll
    Little bit of Horatio Neck
    Genesis Morphs
    Genesis Evolution Morphs
    Ulrich Texture
    Mature Mark Hair
Effortlessly Cool Shirt w /Mellow Texture

Wow, I think that is the winner! It is great. He looks so real.
Yeah, if we were voting, that would have my vote. Plus I'm really happy to see a render of the Ulrich texture on Genesis since I was thinking of buying it for use on Genesis...looks great!

This accidentally got put in the RRRR thread, but I hope this still counts.

This used the Bad Guy outfit, used Evolution morphs for Genesis.

thanks, barbult and Scott-Livingston. I love the Ulrich texture (and the other Phoenix66 middle-aged men.) It really helped the realism, with the moles, stray eyebrow hairs, etc. I really enjoy playing with Genesis morphs. I spend a lot of time doing that. It is surprising what a tiny (less than 1%) bit of "goat", "demon" or "hill troll" does for a face to make it more interesting. :cheese:

Yes, I saw your mispost at 11:44pm in the RRRR thread so no worries, it is officially entered. *smile*

    and now...

    decisions, decisions!

    *sigh*

    This is difficult.

For those following this thread, of the items that are NOT marked as "Not an entry" and are NOT your own entry, which one would YOU say is a winner?

Favorite: Luci45's M5 with Ulrich skin (post 88, I think)

Thank you, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. :)

Now as to who else's render that I think should win... Luci45's render.

    Alexa :)

    I like em all.

I think FiveCAt's grandpa is cute, and ZamuelNow's characters appeal to me.

But they all have something special about them worthy of notice.

For me, I can't choose just one. I'd simply put the qualified contender's in a hat and draw! =-)

My favorite is Luci45's (post 88). Runners-up, in chronological order (not necessarily order of preference): Skiriki (#60), SereneNight (#62), barbult (#69). Also wanted to mention that a number of the NAE's were outstanding!

Thanks for putting on this contest, RKane_1! It was fun!

I want to add that I like evocative art and find Jaderail's and Kendall Sear's artwork moving. Pictures that tell a story, or make me wonder about the characters and their lives? Nice. Good work.

Although not an entry, Draagonstorm's Willie character has a tremendous character and expression.

Some of the one's I wanted to pick wound up being NAEs, heh. I guess it winds up being between Luci45's on page 3, SereneNight's on page 5, and barbult's on page 5. I tend to like the images set as a full as opposed to just a portrait though a lot of the entries are good.

Not a submission, 'cause I did this in 2010 and don't remember what I used (except for the hair, it's AprilYSH's Deeta). But I think it meets your challenge. DAZ|Studio (2x? 3x?) render, larger version in my deviantART gallery here.

    Pink for a Portrait

Beautiful render! She looks like a nice woman.
    Thanks, glad you like it!

More of a general question for the new store but do the coupons have any specific expirations or restrictions?

    Cool idea RKane_1

Not an entry just a contribution to the thread theme.

    This is Billy.

Genesis Dialing all the way and Dave for the face texture.

Good luck to all who enter.

Didn't he used to sing lead for Midnight Oil?

    lol :)

Would you believe that  Peter Garret became a "politician"!!!!

He has since stepped down from politics and may reform the group Midnight Oil and present some new songs!!!

    Quote:

"Over their 25 year career, Midnight Oil released 11 albums and cultivated a legendary live show with their politically driven, anthemic rock making them one of Australia's most iconic bands and biggest musical exports.
