This Month's "Must Haves"

Now that the PA sale is (likely) winding down, what have been your "must have" purchases for the sale? What items got released over the PA sale that make your "would highly recommend" or "must have" list? 

For me it's Cayman Studios' product Genesis 3 UVs for Genesis 2 Female(s). It's a great product that I definitely recommend for anyone who has some nice G3F textures that they'd like to use on G2F. And the other product I'd recommend is Instant Makeup for Genesis 3 Female. It can create looks from super subtle and natural looks to out loud and in your face looks and everything in between. I love that it can give such a great variety of looks.

What items have been released during the PA sale that you consider "must have" or "highly recommended"?

    For me it was Brow Remover for Daz Studio from Zev0 and DraagonStorm. Also Cayman Studio's Genesis 3 UVs for Genesis 2 Female, which divamakeup already mentioned.

    I also think the Brow Remover for Daz Studio  are a must have (because it also works with G2 and G1), and also the iREAL Animated Ocean Water System

    There's a lot more stuff that is really close runner ups for me, but it's ultimately a matter of taste, anyway. What's useful to me is useless to others. smiley

    Zev0's Brow remover; I've removed what seems like hundreds (multiple textures per character), and consider the time-save aspect well worth it.

    Sunny 7; most useful bundle I've bought, I'll actually use every item - some more than others. The one annoyance there was the claim it was Default UVs, it is not; I think they've changed it now though, but I converted it to default UVs myself.

    The Farmyard, great product, and the buildings are useful on their own too.

    I'm a fan of TerraDome 3, so am tempted to say this too, but depends on requirements.

    Brow Remover all the way for me. If you look at it from a 'time is money' point of view, then it quickly pays for itself - an assistant that, for a one-time payment, can be called upon whenever you like to do all of your photoshopping eyebrow work, in the time it would take you to get the kettle on and say 'Nice job. I'm glad I don't have to edit all those maps any more!. In my case, it probably makes a better job of it too :)

    There was nothing that was a "must have" for me and I only got a few things that were in my wishlist, Cayman Studios G3F UVs for G2F and GenX for Genesis 3 stand out. I did pickup TerraDome 3 thinking it would be a must have, but it was too demanding on system resources for the uses I needed it for so had to return it.

    Cathy, Anna & Awan because Raiya's skins make my life so much easier and fun.

    Myrna Textures for Myrna Outfit because Shox-Design's textures are the bomb! She has saved many an outfit.

    Urban Survivors G3M&F because Luthbel makes the most realistic male clothing I've used; (now if I could get him to add some morphs and use Shox-Design to do add-on textures...)!

    Kaia for Kalea 7 because her morph looked so real and cute, and she was inexpensive.

    And the forementioned Genesis 3 UVs for Genesis 2 Female(s) so my G3F characters can wear all the G2F heels; (if only CaymanStudios would do a G3F UV for V4 I'd be set).

    Greetings,

    So...looking through my stuff (just the things that I already got that were new during the sale), I'd argue Terradome 3, the Traced Outfit (Harley Quinn: For The Win!), Ajax hair, iREAL Animated Water were ones I'd consider 'Must Haves'.

    Stuff I got that wasn't new but that I had to have: Iray Light Manager Pro, i13's Useful Actions for G3F, EcVh0's G2F Iray skin shader, the Oriental Breeze Pool and the Rune 7 Pro Bundle.

    I do love Lyoness's stuff, ESPECIALLY the awesome dirty textures she does, and LY Meleese HD is on my wishlist to buy tomorrow, to anchor 'Day 3' of the catch-up sale. smiley (I'll probably also pick up LY Harper, because (1) cute, and (2) LIE freckles FTW!)

    Also Zevo's Browless, along with Real Brows for G3F, Natural Breast Shapes for G3F, and G3 Add On for Gen Ex (finally). 

    Now all I need in Skin Builder Pro3 and I can actually get some use out of G3.

    Your Wow Brows is also great for changing up the looks of brows with ease. I will be looking into getting a fiber mesh option for close ups, but for non-close ups your Wow Brows product works great! :D

    Ahhhhh Why did you have to mention that!? I was totally not interested in that outfit until you pointed out the fantastic looking textures add-on. lol

    At the risk of sounding repetitive, Brow Remover, TerraDome3 and G3F UVs for G2F are all at the top of my list, but I was expecting those to be major hits going into the sale.  The one item that DID kind of come out of the blue was I13's Emotions Running Wild.  Sure, the poses are great, as one expects from Ironman, but the real kicker is the included expressions ... wow.   42... yes, as in the secret of Life, the Universe and Everything Forty Two.. new expressions in both preset AND dial form. Seriously, one of the best deals ever.

    Trying to look at it more objectively, my opinion is that the only real "must haves" are TerraDome3 and Brow Remover (combined with one or both of the eyebrow makerers released at the same time.)

    Personally I skipped on TerraDome because I wasn't sure about the ten billion addons and then my 3 day discount ran out, but it does look really solid and irreplaceable by anything else in the store from what I know of it.

    I bought all of the eyebrow makeup related things and find them crazy useful.

    Of course lots of other products are fantastic but most of them have alternatives. Still heavily considering Humpback Whale though!

    DEEEEEEEP BREATH.

    At essentially 86% off with all the discounts applied, I finally picked up the Commercial Game Developer License.

    Along with Meleese, Harper, a $14 PC+ annual extension, and a few other things which are all awesome.

    But...Oh. My. God.  I finally took the dive to get the commercial license for DAZ Original models. Smiling with Cold Sweat Been wanting that for a really, really long time, but it's usually so incredibly expensive...

    Stefan "Stonemason" Morrell's Jungle Construction kit was my must have. Any of Stefan's fantasy or scenic environments are an instant buy for me.

    I really hope you're right :D It's going to be one heck of a comedown if it isn't... O_o

     

    I haven't bought anything new, but I have extended my PC+ Membership by a year, and I've bought the pw Shaders bundle, as I'm really into Toon renders at the moment.

    Although it was a painful decision that I had to make between aniMate 2 and the pwShaders. If my computer rendered animations a little faster, then I would've bought aniMate 2. Then again, I can't imagine that having the full version of aniMate 2, would make the render time any faster... :s

    Hmm... I got Pixeluna's Synx, Cosmic Synx outfit and the UberSynx texture expansion (I wanted Cypher as well, but that fell through). Also got a few other things, like Stonemason's After the War set.

    I'm partial to blind demon. So far that is my favorite thing released this month. Sadly there hasn't been enough male content released to truly excite me.
