Well we all know that a reboot of "The Six Million Dollar Man" is about to come out, so I have a feeling cyborgs are going to become a thing very soon.  As for science fiction it's really not that weird or uncommon at all, that imagery has been around for a long time.  Glad to see somebody jump on a trend before it becomes commonplace than seeing a bunch of stuff coming out where you automatically realize where the inspiration came from.

Hmmm, 1) Why would anyone want to reboot that show when there are so many valid themes to revisit. 2) The constant barrage of movie/TV "inspired" items is off-putting for me. For example: The O'Bannon Bridge, is a beautiful piece of work with excellent attention to detail... and I would never use it for any artwork that might leave my HD. I don't mind fan-art, but I never create it.

I think the male has the slight edge on creepiness between the two...maybe it's the big round eyes with the blank stare ;)

"Another weird thing is that animation motions and poses are stuffed under the same category with no way to filter away 10,000 pointless poses some of us don't ever want or need!"

Those are standard D&D things...I can see where your brain was at when making those.  Most of your stuff makes sense.... though http://www.daz3d.com/zoot-suit-for-lycanthropos or your MRI machine or the Self Check out Lane...those kind of fit the bill.

Now, if you were to make a set of sausage based weapons.....

Never again will I assume that the term 'banger racing' refers to throwing beaten-up old cars around the track :)

LOL... I love the question posed in this thread.  As a PA, I won't tell you what the first thing that came to my mind was, because I want to keep the other PAs as my friends, hehe.  But, without hesitation, a product popped into my head when I read the first post.  But, it's all subjective, isn't it?  I didn't find anything odd at all about the OP outfit and cyber-arm.  But, to each their own.

Hasn't been in the store for I while, I think.  That was a Sergge model, right?

Nah, that's not even as weird as some of his other stuff. And monsters and things like that aren't exactly weird for the store.  To me, weird is something that makes one think... why did someone even think of that, let alone decide to see if someone else would buy it?  And I have to say that this is one area where the influx of RDNA items has really made a difference, as DAZ's screening processes/standards seems to have kept a lot of the really wacko stuff out until now, whereas RDNA always embraced the more eclectic stuff.  Which is all to the good, as the merging of the stores has made for a much more interesting place to shop.

  • I have an idea for the weirdest item to be put into the store.  That is if I can pull it off.  Well not the weirdest but weird indeed as I am not sure if anyone has done it.  Unless MacLean did it.

    Nope, Digital I.

And, frighteningly, it's probably closer to what actual raptors looked like than most of the existing raptor models, now that scientists think they had feathers.

This struck me as strange. Purchased a Kid's 4 outfit http://www.daz3d.com/50-s-dress-for-kids-4

and it includes a "Needle" prop. Which is some sort of post apocalyptic (?) gun.  For kids. Eh, was really looking for something nice and innocent looking personally.

That's a Bioshock "Little Sister".  She's weird in her own right, but not as creepy looking as the actual character she's based on.  The characters actually well known to the point that little kids (and adults) will cosplay them.
