Creating clothing for Genesis 3

Any idea how to create clothing for daz studio/Genesis 3? What programs to use, tutorials etc. I have no idea where to start and a Google search comes up with very vague info.

What tools do you have? This isn't a task you can perform with DS only.

Only daz at the moment. Gathered I'd need some more softwear.
