How to block products from showing up on your product listings list without 'buying them'

I sort through the free products and must have some good utility so I download them. Others have no good use so I don't download them and furthermore I'd like to prevent those products from wasting my time and wasting DAZ Production's money in download bandwidth feees by continuing to list on my account when I am not going to buy the product.

How do you do that? Is there a way to keep such products from listing in your account? Or can such a feature be added so, for example, parents can filter the DAZ Shop for content before letting their children see the DAZ Shop?

I'm not aware of any way to filter an arbitrary set of products from the store listing.

Thanks. It's a bit irksome but oh well.

I still think they need to add an R and PG ratings to some of those products that are horror and violence related. I'm not talking children's Jack O'Lanterns and Scarecrows but some of the more 'adult' content. Not that I want to use such a ratings system, should it be implemented, to then demand nudity or sexual content as well. It's not like television and the internet isn't flooded with it already.

Google image search has finally gotten pretty good at filtering violence and gore out. It use to be they filtered all the nudity and pornography out but they've finally gotten good at filtering at violence or gore if you do 'Strict Filter'. It's usually one of those folks looking to create easy click bait to use to trick people into visiting their sites. Now they are trying to use made-up celebrity gossip instead of those.

  • You can hide them manually on your DIM. This is what I do :) you select all the ones you want to hide, right click one of them, select Hide - all delected :) ta-dah!

Thanks, even though the product is a freebie i haven't purchased it so it shows up at the DAZ Store everytime I sort for new freebies and not in my DAZ Studio personal content. LOL, I had just downloaded a bunch of freebie I didn't want to get them out of the freebie list in the DAZ Store as it was getting to be a long list and then that product shows up. So i'm like, well I'm not going to bother with that. DAZ 3D can either assign content ratings and let customers filter on that or they can let customers choose which products they don't want in their listings but even without I will ignore that product. No sale is as good as a filter eventually.

I agree, it's really frustrating when you own a  pro bundle and daz keeps offering the Starter Bundle or you own all the poducts in the bundle but Daz still keeps offering the Bundle. It would be handy if you could lick Don't Show in future lists or you can assign 'Owned' to a Bundle when you own most or all of the products in it etc. I searched this thread because I was just watching a tutorial in YT, the guy had a 'Hid Product From Listings' button.

    Thanks

    Jim

  • The ability to hide products from listings is in a browser pluggin called "Daz-Deals Options" available over here.  It has a lot of other useful features, too.

Wow, thanks for that. I've installed it, and after working out I have to create an account for it separate to daz studio  it works so well, it even sorts by % off wich is so cool. I wish you could have it working on Safari, but you can't have everything. :-)
