Logo on chest of supersuit?

Hello there guys and gals. Fairly simple question today. I've got my character just about completed but I can't seem to figure out how to add a logo to the chest of the supersuit. I downloaded the free template from ShareCG and made one up using it and some transparency (so it would show the emblem, but not affect the current color I've got on the costume) but if I try to apply it to the supersuit's diffuse map channel it just turns the whole costume white (the color of the logo). Any help?

That is probably because they are all the same material zone. You will need to use the geometry editor tool, select the area you want to have the logo on and then create a new material zone. This way you can have the original texture on the first material zone and the new texture on the new one. You could probably also use a geometry shell, but I have tried that method.
it is Iray. How do I do the decal thing?
Here is one thread about Decal in Iray.
tried it, no luck. is it supposed to be visible in the viewport because I get nothing from that Iray Decal Node after I put my texture in except a bounding box but no matter where I move it, how I rotate it, or what projection settings I choose it's just blank.
Here's one way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CR0ssZAdiM
It's not visible except in NVIDIA display or an actual render.
That's what it is, doesn't appear until you render.
